Chapter 96. Merry Love

I smiled as well, "What are you guys doing here?" Jin hissed with a forbidden eyes towards the members. "Sorry, Jin. But these kids were just worried for your sudden disappearance, even though they already knew where you are," Namjoon scratches his nape.

And at the exact time, someone enters the dressing room again. Must be one of the staffs. "Taeyeon-ah, you're on 30 minutes from now," I nodded my head and sighed.

"I guess you should go with them right now," I turn my gaze to Jin. "Andwae. I wanna see you performing again," He pouts as some of the members felt disgusted by their hyung's reaction.

"But-", "Don't worry, Taeyeon-ah. We'll just have our rehearsal after your performance," Namjoon interrupts me. I have nothing to do but to let them be. They escorted me outside while Jin never leaves my side. It's like he's totally my personal bodyguard.

"Taeyeon-ah!" I turn to look back and found Kai smiling towards me. Jin also turn back but his sweet face washed away when he saw Kai standing few meters away from them. Kai walk towards their direction and held Taeyeon's wrist which made Jin to look down as well.

Jongin took a quick glance at Jin and back to me with a sweet smile on his face, "I've been waiting for you to come out of the dressing room. You see, after the two performances, it'll be you and Baekhyun's turn to perform," He reported that made me bite my lower lip.

I turn to look at Jin and the other guys, "I'm so sorry, guys. But I guess I need to go right now," I politely told them. "It's okay, Taeyeon Noona! Good luck with the performance!" Jimin says with an eye-smile and a giggle.

"Let's go?" We are about to go when Jin block our way. Taeyeon looked at him in shock as Kai stares at him with brows raised up. He's hesitating to tell me something since his lips were quivering while he's stealing glances to Jongin who's at my side.

Jin had nothing to do but to hug Taeyeon as he purposely pushed Kai aside. "Good luck," He whispers as I smiled and tap his back. I whom the one who pulled away and smiled at him again before Kai and I passed him by.

Jin follows them using his eyes. He grits his teeth while staring at the person who's beside Taeyeon by this time.

"So where am I suppose to stand by?" I turn my head to Kai, "I knew a place. But it'll be a secret," I just nodded since I have nothing to do with it. A secret is a secret, they said.

"And yeah! About your recent performances, you did great, Kai! You're really awesome!" I complimented as Kai scratches his nape shyly. I can spot some red marks on his cheeks. "Uh.. T-thanks, but I guess you saw the way I missed the steps," I look at him in wonder. "Huh? I saw nothing. All I remembered was that you were dancing so gracefully! And.. I never would have thought that you guys were just hiding your talents. Because honestly, I never saw you all dancing or even singing before," I lower my head.

While walking on our way at the main backstage, there were also random students that must be checking out for some of the performers. They squealed and giggled at the sight when they found us walking together. They shyly greet us as Kai and I return the same, making them giggle again non-stop.

"Oh yeah. That. It's just that.. W-well," Why is he hesitating to tell me the reason? Is there any secrets behind that story?

"But I rarely observed that you stared to Baekhyun for almost entire of our performances," He changed the topic, and I can sense that he doesn't want to talk about what we were talking about earlier. I just didn't reply and remain quiet. Kai stops from walking that also made me stop.

"But this time, you can stare at him right now even how many times you want to," Kai mysteriously says that makes my eyebrows furrow in curiosity, "What do you mean about him?"
