Chapter 6

(Ross' POV) 

Laura and I are walking to my house to finish our song. But I still can't believe that Laura has gone through all of this. How can something so horrible happen to the best girl in the entire world.

We arrive at my house, with our arms still around each other, we enter, not saying hi to the people in the room, we just walk up to the music room.

Laura drops her backpack on the couch and takes out a book.

"I brought my song book" she says with her beautiful smile and jumping up and down.

I chuckle. We sit at the piano

"Ok, so want sing what we've got so far?" She asks 

"Sure" 

I go over to my guitar and play the cords we agreed on, while she played the keys we also agreed on. She starts to sing.

🎶 Planets align

Suddenly I'm alive

(Ross)

Eyes full of stars 

Guide me to where you are

(Laura) 

Pinch me if  I'm asleep 

Cuz this feels like it's a dream

(Raura) 

We're like two in a million 

Can't even begin to find

Where I found you

What are the chances 

That there'd be this magic when we touch 

(Laura)

We got something special 

On another level 

Like it's just me and you in the room 

Because something so brilliant 

Is meant for just two in a million 

(Back to Ross' POV)

That's all we've got so far. 

"I was thinking we play the intro from the beginning again and then we write our lyrics " Laura suggests 

"I like that idea" I say winking at her. I think she blushed.

I wake up from a horrible nightmare. But, I immediately feel...safe. I can finally feel my body again and I feel something enclosing my body. Arms. Very muscular arms. I look up, to see my blonde friend sleeping. He looks so... cute when he's sleeping. Laura don't say stuff like that, he's your friend. Oh no, he's waking up. I have to do something. 

I pretend to be asleep 

I hear Ross say" beautiful " and kisses my face multiple times, before laying me down on the couch and leaving the room.

What did he say? Beautiful. I've never been called that before... 

I get up, go over to my backpack to get my phone and I check the time. 8:30!!!!!! Oh no, I need to get home, I'm glad we finished the song. I stuff my things into my backpack, and I start running out the room, it was probably a bad idea

(Ross' POV) 

I walk downstairs to get some snacks before Laura wakes up, my lips are still lingering with the taste of her soft beautiful skin. I start walking back upstairs with a tray of a bowl of pretzels and juice boxes, I know childish, but it's a light snack. I'm right outside the music room when I bump into something... or someone.

(Laura's POV)

Oops. I might of bumped into Ross, dropping the food he brought up.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry" I say, kneeling down to pick up the mess

"It's ok" Ross says coming down to his knees helping me

We go for the same juice box, his hand landing on mine. I quickly pull away nervously, he picks up the drink and we stand up at the same time, my head looks up, and his face is right there, an inch away from mine.

"In a hurry" he says breaking the tension and awkward silence between us

"Um... yeah. It's getting late, and well, you know" I say looking down, thinking of what my dad has done to me all these years 

"Hey" he starts "you'll get through this, I know you will, you can always come to me" he says with his famous smile 

I nod "Thanks, for... everything" I say giving him a hug "I'll... see you tomorrow" I whisper in his ear, then kissing his cheek and I run out of the house with a smile on my face 

(Raura' s POV)

What just happened!!??
