Chapter 24

(Laura's POV) New Year's Eve day...

"Are you ready?" I ask Ross as I fix his leather jacket

"Duh. It's great performing again" there's a gleam in his eye that I see every time he talks about his music

"Who's ready for R5?" The intercom asked and the fans go wild

The rest of the band take their last sips of water before looking at us

"Have fun"

"I will"

I kiss his forehead before they go out on stage.

"What up guys. Happy New Year's Eve, you guys ready?" Riker asked them the crowd screamed

They start off with 'Did you have your fun?' And I sing along with Stormie and Mark behind the curtains

It's 11:50 and R5 is singing 'Dark Side' and the fans still have so much energy.

"Ok guys, it's 11:58, so I want my family out here with us."Ross said into the mic. Mark, Stormie and the G boys walk out. "That's you too girls" Ross said looking back at me and Kayla. We smile and walk out. Everyone screams when Ross wraps his arm around my shoulder and kisses my cheek. Music goes through the intercom and everyone sings and dances along. Ross grabs my waist and we sway to the beat. "This is going to be the best New Years ever" Ross whispered in my ear. I nod in agreement as we keep swaying

"10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1... Happy New Years!!"  Everyone yelled, before I could say anything Ross kisses me. I immediately place my hands on his jaw and his on my waist. I open one eye and see Rydel and Ellington kissing, Kayla and Gus kissing, and Mark and Stormie giving a peck to each other, some couples in the audience kiss and Riker, Rocky and Ryland hugging each other. I close my eye and kiss Ross some more.

Ross pulls away and tightens his grip on my waist, he rest his forehead on mine. "Happy New Year" he whispered, his hot breath hitting my lips

"Happy New Year" I said before he pecks me on he check and going to hug his parents. Rydel runs over to me and hugs me, I hug her back

"Happy New Year, Laur" she squealed

"Happy New Year, Delly" She let go and went to hug others. I went up to Mark and Stormie and hug them, we exchanged 'Happy New Years' and I went to do the same to everyone else.

We walk into the Lynch house, music pounding and people dancing and talking, maybe even a few couples kiss. Ross' arm around my shoulder, my fingers laced his fingers on my shoulder. He kisses my temple and walks to the dance floor outside. He starts to pull me, but I stay put on the grass

"No, I don't dance" I let go of him and start to walk back inside, but he grabs me by my waist and pulls me to the illuminated floor

"Well, we'll have to change that won't we?"

"No I don't thi-" before I could finish I'm dipped and kissed all over my face. My forehead, nose, eyes, cheek, jaw and then the corner of my lips, then...finally, my lips.

"I love you" he said.

"I love me too"

"Mmmm, that's not what your supposed to say" he said smiling, cocking his head to the side playfully, his lips getting closer
