Airplane sounds:
Like an Encouraging whisper in my neck
During my pathetic rant for pseudo-independence.
"This is me,
Try to stop me, uncage me if you dare" -I'd say.
(retarded moron)
Airplanes would come and go
Like every night.Fly by my window in my A-frame room
I was always waiting for those flashing lightsGetting high off those 20 seconds-- time to break the mediocrity of shelf life as we know it-- tearing apart those heavyset rules
for only 20 seconds.
It was enough;
Every night they'd come,
They'd come such feral cats promising more.
