Head spinning,
Hands cold and shaking,
Lips quivering.
Eyes glassy from the spilling of tears
As the fly enters into your spider web of deceit for the last time.
Heart galloping over the speed limit,
Your face appears and your body motions toward me.
I fall into the stupor of your embrace,
But strength comes and I reject your tyranny,
Your Hypnotising Power.
I stifle my love, as I murder your heart
Of intoxicating lust, insatiable hunger for the unknown;
The utter disgust of your true feelings in disguise.
Your back leaving,
Legs stiff with regret,
My spirit offers no comfort for your wounded ego,
Your lips red and blistered as my clouds
Offer no rain, my sole regret.
Your smile gradually dissipates as Lust dies in your eyes.
That ravenous fire, raging within your system
Turning into stone with every step taken.
My frustration builds as the reality of your
Imminent departure sets in,
My heart freezes and my blood stops,
The actuality of your leave sinks in,
You have left but your shadow remains
To torture my half-alive soul.
Now you have gone, not so much as a goodbye:
A kiss of the palm,
A closing statement of your overused infatuation,
Nothing for your so-called partner in self-satisfaction.
Farewell I say to your misused judgments,
Uninformed Love and total incomprehension,
Farewell, never to be enslaved again for Freedom has come.
