"No problem babe." I got strawberry ice cream. I ate quietly and I heard Hayden laugh.

"What?" Paige and I asked.

"You two are so cute. You're so focused on your ice cream."

"Duh." I said.

"You've got to savor the flavor." Paige finished. Hayden laughed again and nodded. So, we sat quietly and ate ice cream until we finished. "So, Hayden."

"Yes ma'am?"

"What do you do?" She raised her eyebrows.

"Well I'm in high school, a senior. And I play basketball and baseball."

"Girls play baseball now?"

"They don't have a girls basketball team or a softball team. So I play both with boys. I'm the only girl on both." Paige nodded.

"GPA?" I knew Hayden's GPA was super low, and she was quiet for a bit so I changed the subject.

"Paige, when does dance start up for you again?" She immediately forgot about questioning Hayden.

"It's supposed to be next week! I'm so excited to start again."

"I'm ready to get our practices started too. I want to have the girls started in at least two weeks." I've been talking Hayden's ears off about dance. I'm so ready to start back up.

We talked about random things until it was time to go.

"It's twelve. Mom wants me home to go shopping with her at twelve thirty." Paige told me. We threw our trash away and went back to Hayden's truck. "Thanks for bringing us out for ice cream Hayden."

"Anytime P. We're friends–best friends now remember?" Paige smiled widely.

"Yeah... Hayden, if things don't work out between you and Blair, you'll still be my friend right?"

"Always. Even if things don't work out with Blair and I, her and I would still be friends too." Paige and I were both pretty satisfied with that answer.

"I'll try to convince Mom to let Blair date you. Without letting her know you took us to get ice cream today."

"Thanks Paige. I appreciate it a lot. I'm glad you trust me to date your sister. I know you care a lot about her and want the best for her."

"Well... I know you care about her and want the best for her too. Which is why you're so good for her." Hayden looked surprised. I think she's shocked that Paige is so mature for thirteen. I wasn't this way at thirteen.

"I'm glad you think so." I was really happy that Paige liked Hayden. It means everything to me that my sister and my girlfriend got along well.

We arrived at the house and Paige hugged Hayden before getting out and going inside. Hayden leaned over to kiss me and I put my hand on her chest to stop.

"What?"

"I'm not going home yet, you know that right?" She looked at me surprised.

"Okay, that's great but can I get a kiss from my girlfriend?" I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Not in front of the house, we've got to go before Mom figures out who took us." She nodded and we made sure Paige was let in by Dad before we left. She pulled over and then smirked.

"How about–" I leaned over and kissed her softly, then pulled her neck closer. We pulled back for breath and she grinned. "You're fucking great Blair, you know that?" I flipped my hair with a smirk.
