Chapter 94. Let You Go

Everyone cheers aloud again and by this time, they were chanting Taeyeon and J-Hope's name. They pant in exhaustion as they bow together. Taeyeon still manage to smile even though she's sweating a lot, she waves at the crowd and bows again, but this time, it's a deep bow and lasted for about five seconds.

Taeyeon's POV

I pant in exhaustion as I look at these thousand crowds tonight. But it broke my attention when my eyes landed to where Baekhyun was, and unexpectedly, our gazes met together. I'm horrified and look on the other direction, pretending like I'm looking somewhere and not him. I can't stand staring at him for longer.

I don't know why but I just can't. I was snapped away from my thoughts when Ho-Seok lead me back to the backstage and I'm greeted by my members with a hug and squeeze me in the center, "You've done great tonight, Unnie~" The maknaes said which are Yoona and Seohyun.

"Great job, Taeng! You hit the spotlight!" Hyoyeon says and tap my shoulder. "Omo~ My baby Taengoo finally grew up independently on stage," Says Jessica, pretending like she's crying.

I roll my eyes and smiled, "Well, I wouldn't have done it without you guys. Besides, you were the ones who kept on saying a goodlucks for me. Actually, I owe you girls a lot," Again, they squeeze me on another session of hug. It was then I realize that I need to thank J-Hope.

"Oh wait! I need to talk to J-Hope first! If you would excuse me. I'll see you guys later!" They nodded their head as I wave my hand and hurriedly look for J-Hope.

"Where is he?" I whisper onto myself while looking all around. I kept on turning my head anywhere but I found no trace of J-Hope.

I turn my head at the other side and was surprised to see Kai standing few meters away from me. Kai smiles at me and starts walking towards me. I don't know why but seeing him approaching me makes me nervous all of the sudden.

If he had the guts and courage to talk to me tonight, then I guess this would be another awkward moment. If I recall, Kai and I didn't talk with each other after he confessed to me. I just don't know what to react right now whether to smile at him or simply turn my back?

I didn't even noticed that Kai's now standing in front of me. I look up at him and gave no reaction but just to stare at him. He held my hand which surprises me and by that, he starts dragging me to who knows where.

We were running, and I sense like he's in a rush. I wanted to stop him but it seems like my nerves can't move an inch. So I have no choice but to let him be, I sighed as I found that both of us exited the grand hall. It's very dark outside and I felt shivers within me knowing that we're at a dark place. Did Kai got drugs? He knows that it's very dark here.

We soon stopped to nowhere, since I can't see anything though. I wanted to ask him if where are we but my throat seemed like it's dry and my mouth is very tired to open for a gap. And in just a single snap of Kai's fingers, the lights flickered on that were hanging on the trees. How can I forgot about it? It's nearly Christmas!

The view is so beautiful and the snow that were on the ground shines like a diamond because of the light. Taeyeon didn't noticed that her head kept on wandering around.

All of the sudden, Kai pulled me into a tight embrace which surprises me. My eyes rounded with my mouth hang loss a little. I can feel he's burying his face on the back of my neck. And there goes my hands, floating like an air in startle. It's been awhile but Kai never let me go, so I slowly placed my hands on his back and simply tap it carefully.

He pulled away and stared at me with a smile on his lips, "I missed you," I was stunned by the way he said those words toward me. Did he even got his senses right now? Did he know if who is he talking with?
