Better life?

Lexi POV

My alarm goes off. I roll over struggling to look for my phone. I finally find it to turn it off. It's 7AM. I mumble. "Fuck.."
Today's the day I finish packing to move in with my mom in Australia. I was sort of happy about it. My father...he's a drunk. He woke up one day deciding he couldn't deal with me anymore and my depression. He claims I'm the reason my mother left. Even though he was the one who caused my mother to leave. He cheated. I hated him.

I push the covers off of me and get up finally after procrastinating for 20mins scrolling through social media. I walk into the bathroom seeing my long black hair all over the place. I laugh to myself. I get myself ready for the day.

*4 hours later at the airport*

My father and I arrive at the airport.
"Well maybe you will get over your phase and grow up" my father said smirking. He was absolutely disgusting. The way he smelled of alcohol and sweat. I look over at my aunt and look back at my dad "Yeah love you too" sighing I give my aunt a hug. "I love you Aunt Charlotte" starting to cry
" I love you too sweetie call me when you land" I pick up my stuff and go to board the plane.

*In Australia*

I get off the plane and grab my stuff. Man am I exhausted I just want to sleep forever I take my phone out and call my mom "Hey mom! I landed where are you?" Looking around trying to find her "oh I'm so sorry I can't pick you up I had a very important meeting but I sent a car for you!" A little annoyed she couldn't make time to even pick me up "oh okay then bye"
I hang up and I start walking to the exit where I see a sign that says "Lexi Rayes" I approach the tall guy dressed in a suit "I'm Lexi Rayes" I yawn I just wanna get home
The drive to my new home was short.
We approach a mansion and surprisingly he pulls up to the gates and presses the speaker. The gates open and we drive up the drive way and I get out and I see my beautiful mother.
She hasn't changed a bit. "LEXI I MISSED YOU SO MUCH" instantly pulling me into a hug "hi mom" I say lazily don't get me wrong I missed her but I was just tired..emotionally
"You look beautiful sweetie" looking down at my outfit which was only black leggings and a black hoodie with skulls on it

She was probably just being nice...
I looked ugly
I always will be

A man walks out.. I was confused...
"Oh honey his is Lexi! Lexi this is Andrew! My husband" I was in shock
I was furious she failed to tell me she had gotten married and didn't even think to invite me.

"You got married?... why would you keep this from me? What the actual fuck"

I snapped
"Lexi please I'm sorry... it was so sudden we fell in love" my mom said smiling looking at Andrew

I wanted to puke instead I faked a smile deciding not to fight with her
"It's okay mom can I go inside and go to bed I'm really tired" I just wanted to get away from her
"Sure honey I'm actually going to go out with Andrew and get some food and snacks you like" she said trying to make me smile
Jokes on her...I barely eat.
As I was about to walk into the house
Andrew stops me "oh by the way my son Luke is upstairs with his girlfriend if you need any help he knows you are moving in just knock on his door" he smiles "I hope you enjoy it here"
I smile sarcastically "yeah hopefully"

I walk up the stairs and I see a bunch of rooms I finally see the room with a sign on the door that says "Lexi's room keep out" I walk in and see the walls black with a wood floor and black lights everywhere. The room is huge and I have my own bathroom. Cool.

I decided I'll unpack later. I lay down and watch tv. I started hearing moaning and groaning. What the fuck?
I'm guessing it's Luke and his girlfriend?

I knock on Luke's door

He opens the door and I see a tall blonde haired attractive boy staring at me with blue eyes

I was turned on by him...

"Can I help you?" He says rudely rolling his eyes

"Rude much? Asshole. I'm Lexi your stepsister" I replied

He looked me up and down bit his lip and smirked

He slammed the door in my face

Fuck this place

So much for a better life
