Why Would The Gangleader Want Me?

Chapter 6

"WHAT!" I yell.

"There is no damn way I'm being involved in any of this !"

"You're coming no buts or no's" he frowned.

"Now pick a car "

"That one " I say and I point.

"Get in we're going be late " Derek frowned getting into the car.

"Where's this race at ?" i ask.

"You'll see"

We pull up in a parking lot full of nice cars with their car hoods up. Derek gets out of the car and waits for me and immediately after that the car is surrounded with people. Derek grabs my hand and leads me to the center of the crowed.

"Okay guys so here's how it's going to go " Derek yelled " Two G buy in and winner takes all"

"Now if you want to race give your money to reggie here and LETS GO !" Derek yelled.

The people that had once swarmed the car are now all heading to the street for the race. Derek walks over to his door.

"You coming, Cowgirl ?" He smirked.

"It's not like I have a choice you already took that way" I roll my eyes.

I get into his car and preparing myself for what's about to happen.

"I'm going to win " Derek states as he drives over to the spray painted line on the road.

"Sure " I mutter looking out the window at the other cars.

"Oh and after this is a party at Reggie's we're going " Derek said as he revved the engine.

A girl in really short shorts appeared. She walked to the middle and stood there and waited for everyone to get ready. She looked at each person to make sure they were ready. Then She waved the flag and I flew back with a jerk.

I quickly pull the seat belt  over to the buckle looked up to see that we were ahead of everyone. I could see the wind flying past us that's how fast we were going.

Derek stepped on the break and switched gears to turn around back towards the crowd. We flew by people going the way we had just came from. Derek turned the steering wheel to do a burnout. And once again the crowd swarmed around the car blocking us from getting out they cheered for Derek.

"Holy fuck " I laugh looking at him.

"That was fun "

"Welcome to my world, Cowgirl " Derek smirked His dark Brown eyes stared deeply into my dark drown eyes.

"Hey dude" a knock came on the car window bringing us out of our Staring and thoughts.

"What!?" Derek said angrily.

"Party remember ?" Reggie said.

"Yeah " Derek said take stacks of cash from Reggie. After that we make our way over to Reggie's where the party is.

"Have you ever been to a city party ?" Derek asked.

"I've never been to any party " I laugh getting out of the car.

"Well enjoy yourself.. just not too much " Derek said walking over to me.

"And remember the rules that I told you"
