The girl walked into school. Her hair pulled back almost perfectly into a ponytail. Through the day she tried and tried, but her lips could only fall into a line. It did not curve up or down it just stayed straight.
Towards the last class of the day the line curled down, tears streamed down her face. People around her laughed as she was being pushed around and hit. The teachers didn't notice, it was out of their sight.
She walked home that following night, hurrying to the house.
She opened the diary
Dear Diary,
I'm sorry, but I'm ending this. .
Scribbles were written at the bottom of the page.
A girl who had suffered years of pain had walked downstairs in a house she was alone in.
She entered the kitchen and the only sound that followed was her tears hitting the floor. The pain of silence stabbing into her.
The only sound heard was a thud and the silence grew back, bringing great misery into her house.
