~* Of False Hope *~

The little girl woke up, going through her daily routine in the morning:
Get up, use the bathroom, brush teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast, make lunch, and leave for school.
However this day was different, instead of the usual, as soon as she got to the bathroom, her stomach lurched, urging her to head to the toilet faster to expense of this feeling. Within the matter of seconds her throat felt as hot as an oven, burning all around as she flushed the toilet and washed out her mouth.
She stayed home that day, drawing majority of the time.
By the end of the day the room seemed to be a sea of papers, scattered. Some were crumbled, some wrinkled, most lie perfectly still as if barely touched. She looked over to her desk, grabbing the diary and putting it before her, opening it to the next clean page.
Dear Diary,
Today's been boring, my room is filled with the mess of drawings I have created, destroyed and fixed. I threw up this morning and couldn't go to school today. I hope I didn't make Carly worried.
I'll have to tell you about her sometime.
It's odd I'm a person writing in this book as if it is someone else entirely. When all it is to be is a book to write in and express feelings.
I'm odd, my friend even tells me that I stand out like a black dot in a sea of white by how I look. I hope that's not bad.
Anyways, mother is calling me for dinner
Write to you next time!

She hopped out of bed and hurried down the steps, joining her mother at the small table before them. She told her mother about the day she had and what drawings she made. A smile fell upon the mother's face, happy to hear the creations her daughter wrote down onto these flimsy sheets of white.
They both finished and the cleaned their dishes, setting them neatly into the dishwasher.
The little girl headed up to her room and closed the door behind her, taking the book and moving it back to her desk. She draws a little smiley face on the front and turns out the light, hopping into bed in hopes for the next day.
