Cookies dirty little secret (On hold)

Chapter 8

*Lucious pov*

I was on my way to cookies office because I need Tiana to feature in Hakeem's music video Drip Drop and I need to get her approval because she's Tiana's manager . I got to her office and knocked then walked in and stoped when I saw two kids on her couch. A girl and a boy that appear to be about 17 years old. The boy looks like Cookie he's got her eyes and everything but the girl she's got cookies eyes but doesn't look like her she looks like me. I look at Cookie and she has a blank expression on her face then I look back at the kids. I could feel my blood start to boil.
"Cookie you got something to tell me" I said through gritted teeth trying to remain calm.
"Ummm... Jeremiah why don't you and your sister go home or find Jamal and hangout with him while I talk to him. Jamal should be in the studio if you wanna see him." Cookie told the kids that were sitting on the couch
"K ma we'll see you later love you" the boy said and he got up with his sister I guess and left.
"Cookie did I just here him right because If I did he called you mom. Now the last time I checked the only kids you have are Andre, Jamal and Hakeem. So you have some explaining to do." I said and I can feel myself getting angrier by the second.

*Cookie's pov*

I could tell by the tone of his voice when he said 'you have some explaining to do.' that he was angry.
"Shortly after I went to prison I found out that I was pregnant" I said
"AND YOU NEVER BOTHERED TO TELL ME WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU KEEP THIS FROM ME" he yelled getting in my face and he got me mad and I snapped
"WELL FIRST OF ALL IF YOU EVER BOTHERED TO VISIT ME YOU WOULD'VE KNOWN AND YOU FORGOT ABOUT ME THE SECOND YOU DIVORCED ME IN THERE. BUT HONESTLY IM GLAD I NEVER TOLD YOU BECAUSE YOU WOULD'VE RUINED THEM. YOU WOULD'VE MADE THEM OUT TO BE SPOILED LITTLE BRATS WITH NO RESPECT LIKE YOU DID HAKEEM. WHEN CAROL CAME TO VISIT ME SHE WOULD TELL ME HOW DRUNK YOU ALWAYS WERE AND HOW YOU HAD A DIFFERENT HOE WITH YOU EVERYDAY. SHE TOLD ME HOW HER, BUNKY AND VERNON WERE BASICALLY RAISING THE KIDS WHEN IT SHOULD'VE BEEN YOU, AND I DIDN'T WANT THAT FOR MY BABIES. SO WHEN CAROL OFFERED TO RAISE THEM FOR ME UNTIL I GOT OUT I SAID HELL YEAH.  JEREMIAH AND SKYLAR TURNED OUT JUST FINE AND CAROL RAISED THEM RIGHT. SHE TOOK THEM TO VISIT ME AT LEAST TWICE A MONTH WHICH IS SOMETHING YOU NEVER BOTHERED TO DO AND ITS WHY HAKEEM NEVER KNEW ME. WHICH IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE REASONS HE IS THE WAY HE IS TODAY.  SO YES I DIDN'T TELL ABOUT THEM AND I'M GLAD I DIDN'T. AND YOU HAVE KNOW WAY NEAR OF AN IDEA OF THE KIND OF HELL I'VE BEEN THOUGH " I said but at the same time I kinda regretted it because I was kinda harsh.  After I said that he got out of my face and lowered his tone.
"Ok fine but why didn't you tell me when you got out and how the hell does Jamal know about the kids I didn't even know I had before me."
He said I could tell that what  I said hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
"Jamal knows because the day I came to your office I took him with me to go see Skylar and Jeremiah before I came here to see you. My plan was to go get them and then come to see you so you guys could meet, but they begged and convinced me not to make them see you. You see they have always known that you were there father and they didn't and still don't like you because of the way you treated me and they really don't like  boo boo kitty." I said bringing my tone down
"Well I don't care if they don't like me there my kids and I want to meet them and get to know them and be in their lives from now. The rest of the family also need to know so how about a family dinner at my house tonight at 7:00pm." Lu said
"Ok fine whatever I just gotta convince them......and Lucious make sure your debutant is in check because Skye and Jerry really don't like her and they are very protective over me and if boo boo kitty kitty be making smart comments they won't hesitate to fight her or kill her" I said
"Ok I'll make sure she behaves and I'll see you tonight but before I go can sign these papers.
I need Tiana to feature in Hakeem's music video Drip drop " he said handing me the papers
"Ok" I said. I signed the papers and gave them back to him and he walked out. Now I just gotta convince My kids to come to this dinner.

*Lucious pov*

I walked out of Cookies office and what Cookie said about was true but it doesn't mean it hurt any less . I was a drunk and a horrible father and I was sleeping around. She had every right for her not wanting to tell me about the kids. But the only thing she was wrong about is we're NOT divorced. But I'll tell her that later. What's important know is that I get to know my kids and I become a part of there lives and hopefully get them to not hate me. God plz let this dinner tonight go smoothly.

*3rd person pov*

Jeremiah and Skylar were in the studio with Jamal and they were all just messing around singing ,the twin were really good singers. Then cookie walks in to tell them about the diner that they ALL have to go to tonight.
"Alright guys come out of the booth" Cookie said to the kids and they did as they were told
"Alright Skye and Jerry tonight everyone in the family is going to your fathers house for dinner and he want to meet you two  and introduce you to the rest of the family and you're going no ifs and or buts"  Cookie said and the twins groaned
"Whatever we mine as we'll get this over with" Skylar said
"That the spirit! Alright now come on let's go home and get ready so we can go to dinner." Cookie said and they left Empire and went home to get ready.

Alright guys there you go. I think the next chapter is gonna be about the dinner but I don't know how long it will be until it's gonna be until I'll  update because thanksgiving break is over and I'm back at school but I promise I'll update sometime in the next week or two it depends on how much homework my teachers give me and how much free time I have.
