Riley

A month later...

We were finally moving to our new house. And now here we were, finally with a beautiful condominium. Moving was a bit hassle, though, what with lugging into rooms and try to arrange everything.

I heard my phone ring. It's Maya, so I answered it.

Riley: Hello?

Maya: How's the moving going?

Riley: Farkle and I are trying to sort out our clothes.

Maya: Can Lucas and I come over?

Riley: Sure, go ahead.

Maya:  All right. We're already here.

Riley: Gosh. I knew it.

Maya: Hurry, Riles. Just let us in.

Riley: Okay, okay. Fine!

I said before disconnecting the call and hurrying to open the door. They raised their hand in greeting and complimented on the house. I nodded, because, yeah, it really was nice. "It's all that we're doing," I said

"What is this train for?" Maya asked, pointing the train. Actually, I don't like that train, but Farkle wanted that train. So, yeah.

"You know. So that when Riles, and I have kids, we can play and tour them in the house." Farkle explained.

"By the way, you wanna go watch a movie?" Lucas asked, "Sorry, guys. But we're still trying to sort our clothes."

"Maybe. After you're finished?" Maya replied.

"Yeah, sure."

"We'll just go get Zay and drag him to the mall. After you're finished, follow us there."

"Si, Madame Maya."

"See you later. Bye, guys!" they said before leaving a hand with a wave of their hand.

Farkle and I went inside the apartment to finish up. I got everything done at around 2:30, after a quick shower, We got in our car and went in search of the mall. The condominium was picturesque, with lots of trees and really nice landscaping.  It was obvious it was in a prime location. We stopped when we saw a slope that led to a sort of grassy clearing. The air felt fresher there, with oak tree providing shade overhead, and we spied a couple of swings and a monkey bar. A park, then? We got off the car, leaned it up against the tree, and inhaled deeply, just taking it all in.

I thought to myself, We've found our haven

We lay flat on our back on the ground and looked up at the sky through the branches of the trees. But then a movement caught my eye, I realized I was looking up into a little girl. Wait! What?  Am I thinking about our future? What it could've been and what it was, trying to picture how I was going to live with our own family. That's when I realized that having a child wasn't easy. Handling and taking care of a family wasn't that easy.

"What are you thinking about?" Farkle asked, and looked at me.

"Look at that little girl, what do you think?" I replied, having a child wasn't easy. First I don't think I'm ready to be a mother, second I don't know how to take care of a baby. Lastly, I don't know if Farkle was ready.

"She's cute." He answered I raised my eyebrow. And he chuckled, "Wait! You mean having a--" But was cut off, cause I started puking and feeling dizzy. These past few days, I've been feeling dizzy, puking, and I was almost a week and a half late for my period.

"Oh, Are you preg--" he smirked at me in amusement. Oh my god, was that it? Was that really it?

"I don't know, Farkle." I smiled in return.

"You really can't tell?" he asked, his round eyes growing wider. I shook my head.

I blanked out for a second, remembering the night after our wedding...

We went into our ski lodge bedroom.  He carried me over his shoulder, and He pushed me onto the bed and kissed me. And came close to her.

His hands unzipping my white gown at the back. He couldn't take his eyes away, I chuckled. Well, the rest is private and I'd rather not explain.

END OF FLASHBACK...

We quickly got into our car and drove to the drugstore. He bought a couple pregnancy tests for me and rushed back home. I was so eager to know if I was pregnant. I did the procedure twice while waiting for an outcome.  A knock was heard on our bathroom door.

A masculine voice was heard as the door was quietly opened. "Sweetie, what's the result?"

I went out of the bathroom and sat next to Farkle.

It took me a minute to respond."It's positive." My voice was shaky, he was smiling happily.
