First Date

Riley

"Wait, what?!" I loudly shouted. My mom knocked on the door and she asked: "What's going on there?" She sounds worried. "Nothing, don't mind me. Sorry for waking you up." I answered

It feels like a dream, your crush asked you out on a date. Who could you say 'NO.' To a guy that you like? I know that I just met him a while ago, but I really like him. I don't care if this is only an infatuation or something.

"Let's see," I replied, yeah right! I like him, but I'm not sure about this feeling.

Do I have to consult Maya first, before dating him right? And I know that Maya will be upset if I didn't ask her about this.

So I texted her "Are you still up? Cause I need you to be here right now. There's an emergency." I know Maya will always be there when I need her... "Riley I wanted to, but I can't. I'm with Josh. I'll make it up to you, I promise." Okay? Maybe not now.

The next day...

Farkle picked me up and gave me a white rose. "Aww! Farkley this is so beautiful. What is there for?" These are not from Farkle, Farkle will NEVER give me a flower without a reason. "I'm glad you like it, nothing. Someone told me that white rose signifies peace. Just in case you're having a bad day, that will give you a PEACE of mind." My Farkley is turning into a grown-up man. "Well, I'm having a good day, but my day became BETTER when you gave me this wonderful white rose."

When we're already at the school, I immediately went to my locker to get some of my books... I opened my locker and saw a bouquet of roses. It has a card saying; "A beautiful roses, for a beautiful girl. -From: Unknown." Oh, Farkle! These are too much.

"Wow! Peaches have a secret admirer huh?" Maya smirked. "No, these are from Farkle," I replied.  Maya reads the card, she looked at me like I'm a criminal. "I don't think so, why would he put the word UNKNOWN?" Farkle walked in.

 "Hey, Farkley! Thanks for giving me these." I said, showing the flowers to him. "I don't think that's mine." He said, come on Farkle! Stop kidding us. "Then who gave me these?" I asked.

"I did. Riley." We heard a masculine voice coming from the hallway. "What for?" I asked. Oh, about last night. He grabbed my hand and hold it. "Because I like you when a guy gives you a flower it means he likes you right?" He sounds really in love. Uhmm... I'm clueless about love.

The bell rings... So we came into our room as nothing happened.

Our topic is about 'LOVE' which is kinda awkward.

"You need to slow down when you're in love. And make the right decisions." Mr.Matthews (My dad) said.

Lucas raised his hand and asked "How? Falling in love with someone is too fast." Yeah right, just like how I fell in love with you.

"Well, ask yourself; Do I really like her? or Do I only like her because she makes me happy?" Mr. Matthews answered. "I'm really sure that I like her sir," Lucas said like he's seriously in love. "Okay, Friar, who's that girl you're talking about?" I crossed my fingers and hoping that he will not say my name if my father knew that it was me. He will kill me.

"Your daughter, Sir." He answered, my dad, looked at me. My eyes widened, I'm starting to get blushed.

"Friar, I want you to shut your mouth right now!" He commanded, my dad doesn't want me to have a boyfriend.

"Riley, we need to talk right now." My dad's insane. "In front of the whole class?!" I asked, oh god. My dad's overreacting again. "When the daughter--" he began to say something so I cut him off. "Stop!" I said.

"Sir, you don't have to--" Lucas was about to say something, but he cut him off. 

"Lucas this is a father, and a daughter talk." He said to him. I stood up and said to him 

"Dad looks, I'm not a kid anymore. I know what I'm doing. If someone asked me out on a date. I will decide who I go on my first date with, at such time as somebody asks me."

 He stared at me for a while. Lucas raised his hand, I looked back and smiled at him. 

"I will allow you to date, my daughter." I can't help it so I shouted "Yay!" My happiness is overflowing. "BUT!" He added, "What?!" I groaned. "But Farkle and Maya will also come with you." Okay, it's just fine. At least I can have my first date. "Fine with me, sir," Lucas answered.

THE CLASS IS OVER.

I got home and prepare for my date. Maya helped me to my dress and my hair. I'm wearing a glittery purple dress and my hair is curled up. It's 5:30 pm already. Lucas texted me "Riley, we're here at the mall. See you."

Farkle

I and Lucas are waiting for Riley and Maya. There they are walking down the stairs, and I'm staring at Riley. She's so beautiful. She's staring at Lucas and Lucas is also staring at her. I'm standing beside Lucas hoping that someday Riley will stare at me like that. 

"You're so beautiful," Lucas said, Of course. Riley's always beautiful. 

"Thanks, Lucas." Riley replied.

 "Even though just that happen, there are some moments that you would remember forever. This is one of them." Lucas said. Disgusting where did you get that line, Lucas? 

"So what are we gonna do guys?" I cut off their staring. Their eyes locked on each other.  I hate this Lucas he's taking away my Riley. "Riley's favorite restaurant is Sbarro," I added. "Okay. So I guess we're gonna eat at Sbarro." Lucas said.

After we ate, we went to a park and took a few walks. Lucas brought us ice cream, Riley's favorite ice cream flavor is cotton candy, but Lucas gave her the cookies and cream flavor which is my favorite. So Riley and I exchanged ice creams. See? Lucas is clueless about Riley's personality.

After that, we got inside the train to go home. We saw Josh (Riley's uncle and Maya's future boyfriend), so Maya sat beside him. While Riley is sitting on Lucas's lap. I'm standing here in front of them. I want to interrupt them, but I don't want Riley to get mad at me so yeah.

I'm just listening to what they're talking about. "You know those moments that you were talking about that you are going to remember forever," Riley said, she grabbed Lucas's face and kissed him.

I looked away because my tears started to fall down on my cheeks.  Maya saw me crying "You really like her? Don't you?" Maya asked I wiped away my tears. "Yeah, but he likes Lucas. And I wanted to see her happy even if she's with someone else." I said.
