Chapter 1 of ?

Phil opened his eyes trying to adjust for what's dream and whats reality, the sheets soft and warm under his hand. He hears the gentle noise  of the leaves of the tree outside his window. He jumps out of bed, to make him and his roommate, Dan some much needed coffee They had just released their second book, Dan and Phil Go Outside, to the world and they needed a break, so today was going to be a lazy day for the two of them. As Phil got out the things needed for his coffee, he herd Dan's door open, "Sorry if I woke up?" Phil stated as Dan never woke up until about lunch time, "Phil?" Phil hears a very timid sounding Dan say followed by light footsteps, Phil turns around, not to see his 25 year old Dan, but a very scared looking 18 year old boy, "What's going on?" Dan says, very quietly and with no self-confidence in his voice at all, a voice that Phil hasn't heard in years. Phil thinks quickly on the spot and says, "Dan, can you tell me what year it is?" Dan looks up at me then says very timidly, "yeah.. um.. 2009?" I comes out more like a question, Phil is slow to reply, but says "Dan... It's 2016" and with that, Dan's eyes go from scared to terrified, but he is to shy to say anything, so Phil pipes up, "We can talk about this after a cup of coffee, ok?" and to this Dan only nods, they sit down, Right now Phil realize that Dan's sitting posture is awful, worse than his 2016 Dan's anyway. As they start to drink there coffees, Dan for once asks a question, "Where are we though?" His question sounds like he is nearly to scared to talk, Duh, Phil nearly thinks aloud, he's from 2009, back when we didn't even live together, "This mine and Dan's, well I guess yours apartment in London." And to this Dan's eyes widen in surprise, Phil isn't dumb and sees this but just moves on by asking, "What is the date today, what it's supposed to be in your time I mean." and to this Dan looks up at Phil, making Phil remember back to when Dan was shorter than him, and says shyly "Um.. November the 10th" "ok" Phil says shortly in reply, at this moment Dan looks up to Phil and says "How old are you then?" and to this Phil snorts/laughs which makes Dan think he's done something wrong and tense up, but when Phil gives him a smile, he knows he is ok, Phil quickly replies with the fact of "I'm 29" and to that Dan replies, confidence out of no where, "Wow! your like 11 years older than me." and for the first time in Dan and Phil's friendship, Phil felt really weird with the age gap.
