Garroth POV
I managed to convince my father to let me go to the Tula guard academy. It definitely wasn't easy but anything is better then being forced into an arranged marriage. My mother convinced my father that if I find some one else who I want to marry and he approves of her the I can marry her but I don't think I'll meet anyone but only time will tell. As soon as I finish that thought a girl walks in picks up a sword and leaves. She's really pretty I didn't get a really good view of her but from what I could tell she was beautiful. I pick up a sword on leave. I see her in the training room I go to talk to her. " hey" I say she looks up
" hey"
" s-sorry to intrude but you seem pretty c-cool . My names G-g-Garroth what's yours?"
" nice to meet you g-g-Garroth" she laughs
" s-sorry I s-stutter a lot when I talk to pretty girls" I say, her eyes go wide " pretty?" She asks . Shoot! Good job Garroth you don't even know her name and you just called her pretty she's gonna reject you just wait. To my surprise she doesn't. She giggles " you're sweet, and pretty cute " she says with her hands on her hips " my name is Y/N" she says. She lets her long/ short hair down from its original bun. I find myself staring at her h/c hair long enough for her to notice " I know it looks bad but you don't have to stare"
" n-n-no it looks g-g-great" why did I say that
Y/N just giggles " you stutter quiet a lot don't you"
" yeah my brothers used to call me Stutter King back home" I whisper and she somehow hears me
" awwwwwww, that's sweet! So why are you here? No one form Ruan comes to a Tula academy unless they're running away from something or someone what are you running from?"
" my father is forcing me into an arranged marriage with the eldest of scaleswind"
" wait ? Did you say scaleswind?"
" yeah why?"
" I'm the eldest to scaleswind!"
