She watched them from behind the tree. Knowing exactly what was to come next.

The man, was dressed in a dull green sweater, with a hoodie, and a matching green sweat pants. He had black biker boots on, and the woman, his victim, wore a classy blue dress, which was now dirty, with clear signs of struggle and mud marks everywhere. She had no shoes on, and her long dark hair was messy. She had bruises and scratches all over her face, blood marks accompanied with it.

"Please don't do this." she pleaded.
The man just laughed. It was a wretched sound.
"It's going to be alright. I have to do this." he said as he softly caressed her cheek.
"Why?" she asked panting.
"Because it's what we do. Honestly, I am tired of your questions already." he said smugly.

From behind the tree, the girl in the white dress, watched it all unfold before her eyes. She never thought that she would ever see this happen in front of her own two eyes.

But now she was here. In the middle of a desolate park. Nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide, besides the large boabab tree that was all that stood between her and this vicious man. She looked around. All she could see, were the millions of stars, effortlessly illuminating the dark evening sky, alongside the moon. She would never forget it's beauty. Nor would she forget the feeling of the wet grass between her toes. She told herself this in fear. She knew that she was going to die, that very same night. There was no way that she could survive. She had seen too much already, and she knew how these people operated. They were ruthless beyond imagination. No one ever got away from them, as far as she had known.

She looked back at the scene unfolding before her. The man was holding the woman's wrist, whispering something to her, that made a tear slip down her cheek. "Please. I will do anything. Just don't hurt me" she said, her face turned away from him.

"Don't beg. I promise to make it as painless as possible" he said smiling deviously.

He lifted both hands to her throat and started choking her. The girl in the white dress turned away. She couldn't see this. She just couldn't. It was too much for her.

After what seemed like forever, hearing the woman choking, and making horrible sounds, she heard a thump. She turned and saw that he had dropped her lifeless body onto the ground.

Tears surfaced at her eyes. She had just witnessed a murder. She fell onto the ground, her entire body weak. She was in shock. How could someone be so heartless? So evil?

Her voice was caught in her throat as she heard footsteps approaching her. She prayed and hoped that he hadn't seen her, but then again, there was never any hope for her.

"Hi." he said sternly as he came into view before her. She still couldn't see what he looked like, because of how dark it was, and his hoodie revealed nothing. She swallowed hard, fear being the only thing that she could think about that instant.

Dare she run? If she did he would easily catch up with her, and that would perhaps make him even more angrier.
"I didn't see anything, I promise. I don't know who you are. Please just don't hurt me." she swallowed.
"Get up from the ground! You're making your dress all dirty." he said, as he held out his hand in an attempt to help her up.

She eyed his hand carefully. What was his motive? Why did he have to confuse her? Couldn't he just do it and get it over with? "Come on." he said, urging her to take it. She took it, doubtful at first, but then he pulled her up. She stood right before this vicious man, who had so effortlessly just killed a woman a few minutes ago.
"I won't hurt you." he said. His voice was familiar, but she couldn't place it.
"Do you know who I am?" he asked. She shook her head. He sighed and quickly looked around.
He slowly worked his hand up to his hoodie and took it off, then he faced her. She gasped.
