They say love is the most powerful,
But I say friendship is much more wonderful.
Friendship is the most amazing bond.
Like a water lily to a pond.
Heartbreaks, your mind forgets,
When you and your friend are making silly bets.
You know you haven't lived until you've had a true friend.
In your time of need they'll be there to attend.
Funny faces, stupid nicknames and smiling.
The fun just keeps piling.
When you are being bullied and feeling down,
They will be there to help you stand your ground.
No more crying in pain.
Only tears of joy, with a friend there's only more to gain.
As long as you have that one friend to count on,
That one person who for help you can look upon.
Then my dear reader, you are set for life.
