Hours passed and soon it was time for me to head back to the manor that my family owned. Mizuka's POV

I walked past Sub's room on way to Amethyst's room and saw Sub teaching Ethan through telepathy on how to make illusions to confuse the enemy after Ethan had taught him how to control his dark side as they both were mute. I smiled and thought to myself," I can't believe that it had been two years since that they had arrived..."

-Flashback to 2 years ago-

Heh... The weather is so beautiful today! This is the perfect time to collect my potion ingredients! Especially a downpour just happened yesterday, which means that the silver water lilies would have grown overnight! Right now is the best time to collect them, so I'd better hurry! I thought to myself.

"Amethyst, Preston! I'm heading out to collect potion ingredients and maybe some food! I'll come back before 8 o'clock!" I yelled. "'Kay!" Amethyst yelled back. I immediately grabbed my turquoise cloak with white swirls and headed out. I clipped on my cloak using a turquoise creeper (it's the full creeper, not just the face) pin that my creeper grandma had given me to remember her before she'ddied peacefully in her sleep. I'd loved spending time with her. She was so caring, but at the same time was strict when needed to. She was the BEST grandma anybody could have in my opinion.

While I was thinking all of this, my feet instinctively brought me to a sparkling lagoon that was surrounded by tall evergreens, like spruce trees. This was where I normally picked all my ingredients for cooking and most importantly, potion making. I had even planted nether wart here after I collected it in the Nether as well as some soulsand to plant it on. I then saw an abundance of silver water lilies and I grinned. This was the biggest cluster I had ever seen that grew along the lagoon's shores. I started picking them and was halfway done when suddenly I heard a splash. I looked around and scanned my surroundings, shocked by the noise. It was then I noticed bubbles forming in the surface of the usually peaceful and calm surface of the lagoon. I thought at first that it was a sea monster or something like that. You know, the ones that are always mentioned in stories? Yeah, those. However, as I looked more closely, I realised that it was in fact two people that had fallen in. However, from the dark magic and light magic that was mixed together, I soon concluded that they were in fact hybrids. I immediately wasted no time in using my magic to teleport them out of the water. I saw that both were guys and one was unconscious, the shorter one, most likely due to him not being able to swim.

The taller one rushed to his side, not even noticing me, as he was too focused on his friend. He saw that his friend wasn't waking up, so he immediately started doing CPR and mouth-to-mouth resurrection. (I think this is correct...?) The shorter one finally coughed up water under his featureless mask after a few minutes and started to regain his consciousness and was soon fully awake. The taller one immediately hugged him in relief and smiled. I grinned and thought to myself," Aw... It's so cute!" It was then that they spotted me.

Let's say things got a little messy and the scenery got a little damaged as they thought I was trying to kill them. I finally convinced them that I wasn't bad and I learnt telepathically that their names were Sub and Ethan and they both were mute. Sub was a Slenderman hybrid whereas Ethan was a Demon hybrid. They said that they were spit out of a blue swirling portal and into the lagoon and landed with a splash. That was when I had heard them. I used my magic to repair the surrounding scenery and pick the ingredients I needed as they told their story. Ethan's was similar to Preston's, where he was brought to Nether Brick Castle in The Nether to be tested on, whereas Sub got captured one day when he was near the edge of the Creepypastas' forest. He was then brought to Ethan's jail cell and thrown in. Luckily, they escaped before anybody could do tests on them.

They both combined their powers to summon a portal to the Overworld and it spit them out here, so now here they were. I decided to let them stay at my home since they had nowhere to go.
I introduced them to Amethyst and Preston and they got along quite well, so I was happy, but not for long. The four of them were always scheming to play a prank on me every other day! However, I was still happy things had turned out well.

-Flashback end-

-Now-

Heh, I remember the time when I had realised that the duo could never be separated, and they always did things together, so one day, I suddenly yelled out," I SHIP SUBTHAN". Let's just say that they both got really embarrassed and blushed, except that Sub had his mask on so I couldn't see and then they telepathically yelled at me, giving me a head-splitting headache that remained for AN HOUR. I learnt to not do that EVER AGAIN. Amethyst snickered at me said it was my fault while I just simply glared at her as the pain was too great.
