I'm sorry I didn't update yesterday I was at a Christmas party for my mom's work and I didn't get home until late. I'M SORRY PLEASE DON'T HATE ME!!!!!

~Jennie’s P.O.V.~

Ponyboy walked back in and smiled at me and I just knew that meant that Johnny said it was okay for him to date me. I stood up. “Oh, Jennie, Ponyboy and Johnny, be up bright and early tomorrow we are going to get the Christmas tree.” Soda said. I jumped up and span in a circle throwing my hands in the air. “Yes, I love Christmas trees.” I said and they all laughed at me. “No she doesn’t like the look of them all set up her favorite part is burning them in January.” Johnny said and they just looked at me. “What the flame is big and can burn your face off.” I said and folded my hands together. “Strange child, I tell you.” Steve said and I flipped him off. “I am going to bed, so I can actually get up early tomorrow morning.” I said and walked towards Ponyboy and I’s room. I changed into a pair of Ponyboy’s sweat pants and one of Johnny’s old sweat shirts, and climbed into bed. I stared at the ceiling for a while just thinking about Ponyboy and I. I was finally his. I imagined us kissing in the snow. That’s when my mind drifted to snow. I looked over to the window and sighed. “It better snow some time.” I muttered and rolled onto my side. Pretty soon my mind wondered and I drifted to sleep.

~Pony’s P.O.V.~

The continued on and soon Darry came home and made us dinner. By then it was just Soda, Johnny, and I. “Should I wake Jennie up so she can come eat?” I asked and Johnny shook his head quickly. “No, the last time I did that she punched me in the stomach and went back to sleep.” He said and I laughed. “But you aren’t me.” I said and he nodded, “Yea, I think I knew that, but she will probably still hit you.” I shrugged and walked towards my room. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Johnny said and I waved him off. I walked in and over to the bed and shook Jennie awake. “Jennie, want to come eat? Darry made dinner.” I said as she opened her eyes. “Nope.” She said popping the ‘P’. Then she did exactly what Johnny said. She punched me in the gut. I clutched my stomach and walked out hobbling to kitchen. “Ponyboy what happened?” Darry asked concerned. “She punched me.” I said looking up at him. Johnny burst out laughing. “I warned you man.” He said between laughs. I could see Soda snickering too. I sat down and eat some spaghetti. Johnny went to sleep on the couch soon after he finished eating. Darry went in his room too. Sodapop and I sat on the floor and watched TV for another hour or so before I decided to talk to him. “When Jennie said earlier that she was explaining to me that Shaun wasn’t her boyfriend, it was because I was jealous.” I said and he looked at me. “I figured as much, did you tell her how you feel?” He asked and I nodded a smile spreading on my face. “She loves me too; she has since we first met.” I said and a smile spread on Soda’s face. “That’s great man. Jennie’s a great girl, smart, beautiful. I’d date her myself.” He said and smirked at me. I shoved his shoulder, but I was smiling knowing he was joking. “Kidding, I’d never steal your girl Pony.” “Good, I don’t think she’d date you anyways.” Now it was his turn to shove my shoulder. “No chick can resist this.” He gestured to himself and I rolled my eyes. “Like I said earlier, you should probably go get some sleep. We have to get up early tomorrow.” Soda said standing up and stretching. “Night Soda.” I said standing up as he disappeared into his room. I went into my room and pulled off my shirt and climbed into bed next to Jennie. I brushed some hair out of her face to look at her. She looked so peaceful asleep, not like when she punched me. Damn that hurt. I pulled her against my bare chest and her body seemed to relax in my arms. I buried my face into her neck and drifted into sleep.
