Привет {Hello} my name is Jaden Mikhailovna Kuznetsov, many just call me Jade, and I was born in the city of Boston but from an early age I was taken back and forth between two other countries, Ireland where my mother had come from and Russia|Ukraine where my father was from. From the start my parents were fine with their life in the lower East end of Boston with my father working on his writing, he had been a lesser known poet, and my mother working in a small dinner only a short distance away from our home, the first part of my life was alright until I had hit the age of five. In the month of August my father had went off to pay respects to our family back in Russia|Ukraine when his plane crashed over the Crimean Peninsula and died upon impact, this left both me and my mother without a good way of paying bills, for basic needs, and the home we were left in. After a good year of struggling with meeting the basic living needs an old friend of my mothers came around and offered both her and me a job that wouldn't require living in the home or in Boston anymore, now I know what you're thinking ‘why would he give a child a job? Isn't that against the law?’ but you're wrong show business doesn't require an age or workers permit. Basically the job was in a traveling freak show and for six years it was all fine and dandy, the ring leader acted like a father to me and was very close with my mother but every good thing must come to an end. My mother was pregnant and two problems had occurred during the eight months she carried the child; one she had little to no

means of seeing a doctor except our own on the show, two she still performed while pregnant up to her sixth month, and a couple months later she had to given birth a month and a half early. For the first hour of the birthing things were going fine but when the child came out he had the umbilical cord wrapped around his little neck and my mother had lost too much blood to save her. She died only an hour after the birth. That seemed to be the breaking point for Eliot, the ring leader, and he started to use me, who was eleven at the time, as a stress reliever. More often than not I was beat for what other performers did and for the little mistakes that I had done during practice or performing, to this day I get this treatment but there are added elements to him releasing his stress.
