Also this is copyrighted so NO STEALING THIS STORY!!!!
There was once a beautiful girl, who lived in a quiet town where nothing ever happened. Her eyes were golden, her lips were cherry red and her hair was as blue as the ocean. One day she would sing, with the sweetest voice, by herself. The next day she would pick flowers by herself. The third day she would venture into the mysterious woods by herself, always returning before dark. She would repeat this same routine day after day until a day came, while she was on her third-day routine, she did not return from the woods. But in a town where nothing ever happened, no one noticed the beautiful girl's disappearance, nor did they notice the sudden appearance of a charming young lady.
The King had three shy sons, whom every day, one of them would go down to the town where nothing ever happened to watch the beautiful girl. The eldest would watch her sing with the sweetest voice and he fell in love with her but did not join her for he was too shy. The second son watched her pick flowers by herself and fell in love with her but like the eldest son, he did not join her for he too was shy. The youngest son, the shyest of the three, watched her venture into the woods and he too fell in love but he did not join her like his brothers.
When the eldest son came down to the town where nothing ever happened, the beautiful girl was not singing with the sweetest voice by herself, she was nowhere to be found. He immediately came back to the castle and told his brothers, " Oh, I cannot bear not seeing her again for I love her! I love her so much that I wish I was a frog, so I don't have to endure this pain," the eldest cried, and as he had spoken it, his wish was granted. The second son thought to himself, how wise my elder brother is, for this is too much pain for a prince to endure, I might as well wish I was a fish. Just as he had thought it, his wish came to pass. The youngest son was also the wisest and was deeply in love with the beautiful girl, so in love, he was determined to find her so he took his brothers, the frog and the fish, along with him as he ventured into the woods.
The youngest son walked on the pathway in which he had seen the beautiful girl walk on every third day. As he walked, the sky grew darker, and the woods were a dangerous place to be in at night. The eldest brother croaked out, " Oh, it is getting dark, why must I risk my life for one maiden? I will find another." And he fell out of love with the beautiful girl.
As he leapt back to the town where nothing ever happened, he came across a charming young lady sitting by a pond, whose eyes were golden like the beautiful girl, whose lips were cherry red, like the beautiful girl, and whose hair was as blue as the ocean, just like the beautiful girl. However, her voice was not sweet like the beautiful girl, instead, it was horrible and screechy. "Alas," he thought to himself, "she must have a cold, never mind, I have found her! I will not tell my brothers for I will marry her." He leapt towards her and said, "Oh beautiful maiden, come kiss me so that our true love will turn me into a prince again, and I will rescue you from this boring town, and we shall be married on the 'morrow." The charming lady stooped down to pick up the frog. As she brought the prince closer, she smiled a horrible smile, with her black teeth showing. The eldest prince cried out, "I have been deceived, I must warn my brothers of this which!" but it was too late, for she had gripped the frog tightly and plopped him into her mouth and ate him.
The charming young lady, after eating the frog, was still quite hungry and was craving fish to eat, so she made her way into the mysterious woods, to see if she could find more unsuspecting princes, for princes tasted delicious.
Meanwhile, the youngest son, carrying his brother, the fish, ventured deeper into the woods, when they heard a sweet quiet voice, singing a sad tune to itself. Immediately they followed the familiar voice for they were sure it was the beautiful girl, but all they found was an ugly donkey tied to a tree. "Oh," said the second son, "we journeyed this far into the woods, following that voice, but here stands a donkey! Why must I risk my life so much for one maiden! I will find another!" And he fell out of love with the beautiful girl and jumped into the stream nearby, to swim back to the castle.
As he had swum for less than a minute, he grew tired, so he plopped himself onto a rock and relaxed under the sun. As he sat there, he saw a charming young lady enter into the stream, whose eyes were golden like the beautiful girl, whose lips were cherry red, like the beautiful girl, and whose hair was as blue as the ocean, just like the beautiful girl. However, her voice was not sweet like the beautiful girl, instead, it was horrible and screechy, but the prince disregarded this. He immediately jumped into the water and swam towards her, for he was sure this was the beautiful girl and he wanted to be the one to rescue her first. However, before the prince had a chance to say anything, the charming lady caught the fish with her hands and plopped him into her mouth and ate him.
The youngest prince, feeling dismayed that the voice was a donkey, not the beautiful girl, looked at the donkey and pitied it. He untied the donkey to free it and gave it water to drink. "Thank you, dear prince, for the kindness you have shown me," cried the donkey in the sweetest voice, "for this, you shall be greatly rewarded." But the young prince was saddened for he was still very much in love with the beautiful girl. "Who do you seek?" asked the donkey, for it was eager to help him. The prince seeing how lonely he was, told the donkey everything, how he had fallen in love with a beautiful girl and how he would watch her venture into the woods every third day. Upon hearing this, the donkey replied, "the one whom you seek, is closer than you think."
Just as it had said that a charming lady came into view, whose eyes were golden like the beautiful girl, whose lips were cherry red, like the beautiful girl, and whose hair was as blue as the ocean, just like the beautiful girl. However, her voice was not sweet like the beautiful girl, instead, it was horrible and screechy as she cried out, "It is I, young delicious prince, the beautiful maiden whom you seek!"
The prince was overjoyed, as he had thought he had found her, but upon hearing her voice doubted it was she, for these woods were mysterious. Suddenly, the donkey cried out, "No! dear prince, she is not her, she desires to eat you! I am the one you seek! Kiss my head and you will see!"
The prince looked at the donkey, then to the charming lady and thought, "this donkey has been so good to me, being my companion when I was lonely, I will do as it says then I will go to the beautiful girl there," For the Prince did not believe the donkey but he had a kind heart.
As he kissed the donkey's forehead, the charming lady cried out in a horrible voice and disappeared. Where she stood, appeared his to older brothers. Amazed at this, the youngest son turned to the donkey for an explanation but the donkey was not there. In its place stood the beautiful girl, whose eyes were as golden as the sun, whose lips were as red as a cherry and whose hair was as blue as the ocean. With the sweetest voice, she said, "You have broken the spell, dear prince, with your kind heart."
The four of them ventured out of the mysterious forest and back into the town where nothing ever happened and were surprised to see the townsfolk out of their houses busily working, children running around, and people laughing and talking. The beautiful girl then explained that the charming lady that deceived the two elder princes was a witch who had the whole town under a spell, which she, every third day, ventured into the mysterious woods to try to break it. The youngest prince was overjoyed, and the very next day, he and the beautiful girl were married in the town, now called, 'The Town where Everything Happened'. The two elder princes married the beautiful girl's two cousins and lived in the castle. However, the youngest prince and the beautiful girl, chose to live in the town where everything happened, retelling their tale and living out their days happily.
