I decided to call the attention of the service commitee when my i received a call from emergency team.
"Hello?yes i am on duty why?? Huh?WHAAAAAT?!"

I dont know why i suddenly woke up from sleep.
I looked outside.
Aside from its still dark.
Its quarter to 3 in the morning.
I received a call from WindAsia.
The airline where my Youngest son Edward is workingn
I was hesitant to answer at first.
Why on Earth WindAsia calling me in this inconvenient time??
I accepted the call.
"Hello Mister Barber??"
"Yes this is he..why?"
I said.
"Sir we are sorry to inform you that---"
"Dad!!!Mom!!"
I heard Annika screaming outside.
Maybe she just got home from a party.
My wife and i decided to went outside.
Annika is crying while watching the news on tv.
My eyes grew wide upon reading the news flashing on the tv screen.
It feels like the world turns its back on me.
I felt the heaviness on my chest as Annika and my wife hugged me.
They are both crying.

I woke up with a continous ring of my cellphone.
"Hello?"
I said in between yawning.
"Hello Miss Entrata?this is WinAsia Philippines--"
I frowned.
Saglit kong inilayo ang cellphone ko sa tenga ko to check who's my caller.
And yeah this is from WindAsia.
Bigla ang kabang bumundol sa puso ko.
"Hello Miss Entrata are you still there??"
"Yeah..yes im here..ano yun?"
I asked
"We are very sorry to inform you that flight 102 bound to Guimaras crashed down..and one of the victimes who died are Captain Edward Barber and his co pilot Chris---"
"NO! NO! THAT CANT BE!NO! PLEASE!"
bigla akong nanlamig and napasigaw.
I immediately turned off my fone and binato ko yun sa wall.
No! Hindi pwede!
Nagbibiro sila!

I keep on telling myself that they are just joking..having a prank ..
Basta nagbibiro lang sila!
Until Marco came inside with Mom and Papa.
"Ate.."
"Anak..anak..im sorry.."
Si Papa and Mama and niyakap ako.
Bumuhos na yung luha ko.

Hindi pwede to!
Hindi siya pwedeng mamatay!
Ikakasal pa kami!

This cant be!
"Ma please sabihin niyo hindi to totoo please??"
I told them in between my sob.
I felt Marco hug us.
"Ate napanood namin sa news.."
Marco said.
I shook my head.
"No!hindi totoo yan!buhay siya!magtetext siya saken!"
I said.
Hindi ako naniniwala sakanila!
"Anak tibayan mong loob mo.."
Papa said.
My eyes pooled in tears.
I bit my lower lip when i saw Tito Keven and his family.
They rushed into me and hugged me tight.
Now that they are here hugging me and they are all crying.
I just realized that they are not joking nor having a prank.
Hindi ma digest ng utak ko ang nalalaman ko.
Ramdam ko ang unti unting panglalambot ng mga tuhod ko.
Pakiramdam ko sasabog ang dibdib ko sa sobrang sakit.
"Of all people why ita has to be Edward?!"
I heard Annika.
Ishook my head trying to tell myself that its not Edward!
No! Hindi pwede!
