PART 2

And that was the moment when I lost it.

I was so angry, that bastard.

"Who do you think you are?" I demanded

He shrugged "Your boss, now... I said.."

"I know what you said, I'm not deaf"

"then please Mr Linton, keep working and bring me..."

"my work here is over, Sir" I spat "I'm going home" I said turning around but he stood abruptly and reach me in seconds.

"I said No, Lilian" he growled.

Lillian... he called me Lillian.

"and why is that?" I gazed at him in curiosity.

He closed his eyes for a moment and whispered "because I don't want to"

"why?" I asked hesitantly.

"because..." he opened them, and I saw regret, but why?... then he covered his face with the ice emotionless face that he daily use. "You said, if I recall... that you don't want to marry with anyone"

"Yes sir, I said that, Sir" I admitted

"then... why would you want to go?"

"because he is my friend"

"He want's to be more than friends" he stated sharply

"what? That's ridiculous sir" I rolled my eyes "besides that's impossible"

"he fancies you" he insisted.

"that's impossible" I said again.

he cocked his head "and why Iit's impossible Mr. Linton?"

"because...well, it's me"

He scoffed "yes I notice that, now answer me!"

"I already answered, It's ..." I sighed "because it's me" I looked down.

"and why is that the problem?" he chuckled

I bit my lips "I have different believes Sir, and... well, you must have seen the way people use to watch on balls, I'm not exactly What mothers would like as a wife for their sons"

"is that so?" he mused

"yes"

"so that's the only reason?" he smirked.

I hated that smirked, BLAST! I want to kick him.

"Well, I... I would never let them make me work as a maiden"

"that woudn't be a problem if the man is rich"

I glared at him defiance "I don't want money from a man"

"mmm a little hypocrite Mr. Linton. Since I pay you with money, and..." he stated evenly "I'm a man."

I glared at him, "that's different and YOU KNOW IT"

"there is more, isn't there?" he pried impatiently.

More than you know, Sir.

He was frustrated for something, but I ignore it.... "more what Sir?"
