Chapter 11: Killed without Fail

All 4 girls sit down on a bench and wait for the police to return with Tyler.
"I'm gonna get a drink."
Riley gets up and leaves.
Brooke's phone goes off and she gets up. "It's my dad..."
Emma and Natalie wait for Riley to return. Then police officers run out of the station and the two of them stay put. Riley returns minutes later with a bottle of water.
"Riles...talk to me."
Riley looks at Emma.
"What are you thinking about?"
"Besides Tyler...Noah."
Natalie smiles and Emma looks at her with her sad eyes and smirks.
"We we're having this amazing time and i just bailed. Jakes right...it was harsh. I just really like him Emma."
"He really likes you too Riley."
Natalie says. Riley turns and smiles at Nat. "I totally forgot you are siblings...does he really?"
"Yes. He dosent stop talking about you. He talks about you more than his favorite horror movies."
"And he'll probably give you a second chance."
They all giggle.
The police station door opens.
"Tyler set them up."
Maggie walks in.
"What but he said he'd be there."
Riley gets up. "Guys...where's Brooke?"
"Okay Natalie and Riley stay here. Emma and I will search around."
They leave, leaving Natalie and Riley sitting there alone in an empty police station.

{*Maggie and Emma*}

"I'm going to call Brooke's dad okay."
Maggie pulled over and went onto her phone. Emma pulled out her phone and sent the killer a message.
Emma:'Please don't hurt my friends.'
Killer:'you're the one who wanted to be done with me.'
Killer:'Now you have to choose.'
Killer:'The good girl, the bad girl or the sibling.'
Killer:'Choose wisely.'
Emma:'You can't make me do that.'
Killer:'Choose or I choose.'
Emma looked up and gently banged her head on the car seat. She looked back down. She called Riley.
"Hey Riley, where are you."
"At the station with Natalie. Did you find Brooke?"
"No but stay put I'm coming."
She ended the call and looked back at the messages.
Emma:'Do NOT hurt Brooke.'
Killer:"And who else Emma, CHOOSE!"
Emma sat, there was no way Natalie would leave the station, neither would Riley...She had to choose.
Emma:"DONT HURT NAT!"
Killer:'As you wish.'
"We should get back to the station."
Maggie said, starting up the car.

*Back at Station*

Riley and Natalie were talking and laughing when Rileys phone went off.
She looked and saw a message from Tyler.
Tyler:'Riley. Why did you send the cops?'
"Riley...don't answer."
Natalie intruded but she replied anyway.
Riley:'I didn't have a choice.'
Riley:'Come to the sheiff's station, I trust you.'
Tyler:'I trust you too, meet me out back.'
Riley stood up and Natalie grabbed her.
"You can't trust him Riley. What happens if he's the killer."
"Then bring something to protect me with."
Natalie looked around and saw a bat.
"Okay...let's go."
They went outback and quietly walked.
"Tylers car!"
We ran up to it and knocked on it.
Riley messaged him again.
Riley:'I'm here. Where are you?'
Tyler:'RIGHT HERE'
"What?"
Natalie looked at the car window and saw the killer behind them. A knife went into her shoulder. She screamed and the killer took the knife out and turned her, her droping the bat she had. He bashed her head into the window and Riley ran. Natalie watched as the killer ran after Riley.
"SOMEONE HELP ME!"
She screamed. Natalies vision was blurry but she put her hand over her shoulder and stood up.
She quickly ran where Riley did and didn't see the killer or Riley.
She looked down and saw a trial of blood going up a ladder.
She grabbed onto the ladder and something yanked her shirt and she fell backwards. The killer was there again but he didn't attack. He just held her against the fence and Natalie looked at him.
"What do you want!"
He tilted his head sideways and scrapped the knife along her chin.
"RILEY! NATALIE!"
It was Emma. Natalie looked back at the killer and thry let go. The kiler ran as fast as they could and got into Tylers car and drove away.
"I can see our stars..."
Riley voice was quiet but nat could hear her. Natalie climbed halfway up the ladder and saw Emma turn the corner to her.
"She's up here."
She looked at her. Natalie didn't care about her wounds, she needed to get to Riley. She finally got up there and Emma followed. Natalie crawled and saw Riley on the floor of the roof. She was pale and blood was everywhere.
A huge stab was in her chest and leg.
Blood was still pooling.
"Riley...No."
Emma yelled her name. Natalie stopped crawling and she sat up and Emma cried pulling her hair back.
Rileys dead and nobody could of stopped it.
