Lightening hit the sky, shattering innocent ears with its nauseous sounds. The misty clouds floated above the Royal Kingdom, showering heaving rain that rattled against windows. The half moon shone brightly amongst the several stars, the only apparent beautiful thing at the moment.

Stefano, the youngest prince, strode through the palace halls, towards the meeting room, running his hand through his dark brown hair. Checking his watch, he retuned his gaze ahead, his eyes held proficiency and power. Servants that noticed him, greeted him with a 'good night your highness', to which he would acknowledged with a nod. He opened the door and entered the room, his posture confident.

"My apologies for arriving late, I was given a late notice" Stefano spoke.

"That's alright son, we were just starting" the king smiled as turned towards his older son, who was slouched on the couch, busy on plotting his next move in the board game, checkers. "Antonio, shall we begin?".

"Huh" prince Antonio said as he looked up from the table. The king rose an eyebrow which made Antonio return into realty. "Oh, yeh, right. We shall".

Major Robertson, about the same age as the king, grimaced at Antonio, before facing the king. "Prince Antonio is getting married soon and considering that anyone can marry him and not just royalty, when should the competition be held?" He asked while he made his move.

"Yes, Antonio needs to get married to become king. The competition should be held in three weeks time, every maiden in England should be notified" the King instructed. "Antonio, would you like to say anything?"

"Uh no no, just do whatever you want" Antonio shrugged, slumping deeper into his couch.

The King simply shook his head, placing his hand on an empty chair. "Any news from the Italians?"

Major Robertson placed his lips into a thin line and walked slowly towards the King. "We received a threat from them earlier this morning. Apparently the know where Alexis Warren lives and-"

"Alexis Warren?" Antonio questioned. "Who's that?"

"If you were listening, you would know" Major Robertson muttered under his breathe while pinching the bridge of his noise. "Alexis Warren is city girl from Manchester. She is his daughter and now is in danger. We need to save her".

"Wait, why is she in danger? And why do we have to save her?" Antonio complained, rolling is eyes.

"This kid never listens!" Major Robertson mumbled.

The wind howled wilder as it rushed through the open curtains. Cold air and spits of water sprinkled the back of the King's robe. He walked towards and shut the windows, along with the dark blood red curtains.

"She is in danger because the Italians are after her and won't stop till she is dead. I can't let that happen at any cost! Not after what he had done for me. He was my everything, like my own brother and I can't repeat the same mistake I already made. I already let him die in front of my eyes, I can't let the same happen to his daughter. I can't" The King explained, his voice now was quite now and regret and sadness filled his eyes as he looked down.

"It wasn't your fault for what happened you majesty" Major Robertson said. "And that was the past, this is the future. We need to save Alexis Warren and we will. I promise".

Antonio seemed unaffected and looked away.

"You were saying Robert? The threat from the Italians" the King asked, regaining control.

"Right. The threat. The Italians know where Alexis Warren lives and have planned to kidnap her in disguise. We have to get her here before that happens"

"Hmm. The competition should be post phoned early. It will now start in four days time, and we will bring her here. She will participate in the competition like a normal contestant so nobody is suspicious. Understood?"

"Understood, your majesty"Major Robertson said, nodding. He then shifted his gaze to Antonio, who wasn't even paying attention to what was happening. "Is he..." He cleared his throat before continuing. "Is he bringing Alexis Warren here?" Major Robertson asked, disbelief shining in his tone.

"Antonio? What? Dear lord no!" The King exclaimed. "Antonio has more important tasks here and besides, I have a more trust worthy person for this job".

Major Robertson raised his eyebrows, questioning the King.

"My younger son, Stefano " the King stated proudly as he turned towards Stefano who was standing in the far distance, in the corner, observing. "He will bring Alexis here".

Stefano stepped forward out of the darkness, his five o'clock shadow glistening in the sunlight with his ocean blue eyes fixed dead on his father. His lips were placed in a thin line, not giving away any emotion. His built physique shone through his light blue button up shirt, his broad shoulders pushed back with his hands clasped in front of each other. His Adam's apple showed prominently and he opened his mouth to say the following words. "Yes father. I will leave before sunrise".

Major Robertson- okay, so I don't have a real life person for this character but I imagine him as 'duke weaselton' from Frozen. :)

The king- Robert De Niro
Age- 58-65 years old (you can pick)

So that's the cast for now, as the story goes on, the cast will be updated. I personally think that these people are great for their role as an author, but you can imagine them however you like:)
