"Mom, what are you going to do?" Rose asks.

They're all asking me. They've been asking me.

She'll be here any minute. I made dinner.

I'm so excited.

"Dad," Rose starts.

"Brecklyn, I'm begging you, don't end up in jail."

"I won't." I say.

"The doorbell rings. I take a deep breath, excited, and I go and let her in.

Her tits are completely fake.

She's dressed like a fucking crack whore, wearing black leggings that don't even fit her, and a white tank top.

She doesn't have a bra on. Her tits are probably a DD, and her fake nipples are at a peak, making dots in her tank top.

Me though, I'm wearing black leggings too, but mine actually hug my body correctly. I have a black and green striped long sleeve shirt on. My hair is curled.

It's just an outfit for home.

I literally want to just start laughing, but I keep it in, walking her to the kitchen.

She runs right to Noah, hugging him.

He pats her back awkwardly.

He's watching me though.

"I'm Brecklyn, by the way."

"You're his wife?" she asks.

"Yeah." I say. "This is Rose, Caden, Rowan, Brooke, and Ruby."

They all wave awkwardly at her.

"How long have you and Noah been together?" she asks.

"Eighteen, almost nineteen years." I say.

She looks shocked.

"Really?" she asks.

"Yeah." I nod, leaning against the counter.

She's going to feel like an intrusion. An outcast.

That little bitch is going to leave here crying.

"And you guys are getting divorced?" she looks between the two of us.

"Yeah." I sigh. "We fight sometimes."

I make sure she realizes we only fight sometimes.

She looks at Noah.

He shrugs, crossing his arms.

She puts her hand on his arm. I grit my teeth.

Bitch.

"Alright, dinner's already done." I say.

"I'll get cups." Noah says.

"Okay, I'll get milk."

So we do the system we always do. I let her sit at the head of the table.

I want her to be uncomfortable.

We all eat, talking to the kids about school, random stuff.

"I failed a math test." Caden admits. "But it's because I started and they were at a different spot in the class."

"The teacher still made you take the test?" I ask.

"Yeah." He says.

"That's not right." Noah frowns.
