Mental breakdowns suck...

{} Shadows POV {}

"Shadow I'm coming in." I heard Blade say.

Suddenly, it clicked. Why he knew a Shadow, why I know a Blade, why he paused at my family and favorite song.

I was talking to my Blade.

Shit fuck.

I quickly started to clean my thighs and wrists. I threw the blade into a drawer and pulled up my pants.

"Shadow let me in." He pleaded as he knocked on the closed and locked door.

I suddenly just gave up on myself.

My body fell to the floor as I cried louder than I had all night, loud enough to wake up people.

"Shadow please let me in. You gotta unlock the door. Please Shadow I can't help you unless you let me in. Please." He pleaded.

"I can't. I can't." I sobbed.

"Please open the door." His voice cracked. "Please. I'm not going to let you leave me. I promise I'll help you just unlock the door."

I reached an arm up and unlocked it, before dropping my hand and squeezing my eyes shut.

Blade immediately opened the door and didn't bother to close it behind him before rushing to my side.

He lifted my limp body into his lap, holding me to his chest.

"I'm right here. Shhh. You're okay, you're not alone. I care about you, okay? Never ever think I don't. I'm right here." He comforted me.

My breathing never settled down as he brought me to my room. He set me down on the bed before shutting my door and turning on the light.

"I really need you to calm down. I know this is turning into an anxiety attack, but I need you to calm down before it gets any worse, okay? I'm right here. I'm not leaving you. You're okay, you're safe, you're not alone." He kept trying.

He put his hand on my thigh to adjust me, only causing me to cry harder because of the physical pain.

"Look at me. I need you to look at me." He put his hands on either side of my face and forced me to look at him.

His eyes were wide with fear and concern, they were red and his cheeks had their own set of tears falling down them.

"I-I can't." I cried.

"I have to go get someone." He told me.

"Don't leave me." I whispered.

"I'm coming right back. I promise. I have to get someone who can help you. I'll be right back. Just hang on." He kissed my forehead before running out the door.

My head fell back into the pillow as I continued to cry.

{} Blades POV {}

I ran out of her room and into the one right beside it. Ashley was laying in bed, asleep.

I ran over to him and shook him awake as my tears continued to fall.

"Ashely wake up. I need your help." I shook him.

"What? Wh- Why are you crying?" He started to get concerned.

"It's Shadow. I don't know what's happening." I said before I ran back into her room.

Her sobbing figure was in the same place.

I heard Ashley following closely behind me as I ran back to her.

I crawled back into bed and held her closely, scarred of what might happen if I let go.

"Shadow, you have to tell us what's wrong." Ashley said as he sat beside us.

"She said that she read hate and then she started hating her too." I cringed at the thought.

"How do you know? Did she tell you?" He asked.

"I was on an anonymous account and she was on hers too and we didn't know it was each other until I asked her a few personal questions and figured it out." I answered honestly.

"Shadow you have to talk to us." Ashley told her.

"It hurts." She whimpered.

Hearing her in this state made me want to cry more than I already am.

"What hurts?" Ashley studied her.

"Everything. Moving, talking, thinking, knowing, breathing..." She cried.

"Physically or mentally?" He pushed.

"Both." She shrugged.

I saw a small amount of blood on her sleeve, but decided to ask about it later. I don't want to make a scene if it's just a scab or something.

"Let me see your stomach." He said worriedly.

She pulled up her shirt and there was nothing fresh.

"Did you ever do it anywhere else?" He asked.

She shook her head. He eyed her a little, but left it at that.

"I don't know what to do..." I quietly admitted as the frail girl in my arms continued to shake.

"I'm going to go get someone who can help us." He sadly told me before exiting.

"What can we do to help you right now?" I asked her.

"Make it stop."

"Make what stop?" I asked as another set of tears fell.

She looked up at me with red eyes. "The pain."

"How?" I asked with a shaky voice.

"Promise you won't leave me. No matter what happens." She sobbed.

I unwrapped my arms from around her and held her face to make sure she was looking at me. "I promise I'll never leave you."

Ashley walked in with Vic following, both of them worried.

"I don't know what to do." Ashley sighed.

"How long has she been like this?" Vic furrowed his eyebrows.

"I don't know. Three hours, almost." I answered.

He rubbed his hands over his face before coming over us.

He sat beside me and took Shadow from my arms.

He started whispering things in her ear and I stood up.

I just.... I don't know how to help her.
