(Continued)

"Do you really think it was the Imperius curse?" I asked

Ron simply nodded, his ears still a light pink.

"Well let's tell someone." I said "someone like Mcgonnagal."

"No, I don't think we should."

"Why not?" I asked.

"Well... I just don't want her to get in trouble..." He said.

"Why? She used the Imperius curse on you!" I said.

Ron sighed "look, it's just complicated."

Oh great...he really does like her. Maybe she didn't use the Imperius curse....

Did he really lie to me...? No, it's Ron. He'd never do that.

Would he?

...........what if.....he really is lying?

He must be if he wouldn't tell me.
Me. The girl he'd known since before Hogwarts.

The one who liked him...and the one who thought he liked her back.

Me.... But maybe that's all I am to him...

"I have to go." I said before quickly walking away, forcing my tears to keep from falling.

Ron, once again, started following me, catching up every few minutes.

"(Y/n) what's wrong? Why do you keep running away from me?" He asked.

I just stayed silent, speedily walking away from him every time.

"Just go away!" I said, turning to face him.

"What did I do wrong...?" He asked.

"It's nothing! Just nothing, okay?! Nothing except for the fact that you like her!" I yelled before running back to the common room before he could follow.

I went to bed, a mix of sadness and anger brewing inside of my stomach before I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
