Chapter 13 -- BRANNIGAN

Duncanville University

9:00 am

"What's with these people?" Takang tanong ni Helaena sa kanyang sarili. Halos lahat ng estudyante ay nakatingin sa kanya.

Hindi niya mawari kung positive ba o negative ang mga bulung-bulungan tungkol sa kanya. Lahat ng nakakasalubong niya ay nakakatitig sa kanya at ang iba ang may hawak na bond paper.

"What am I now? Center of attention?"

Patakbong sinalubong ni Cahli si Helaena. "Hey, hey.. It's like hitting two birds with one stone ah." Salubong na sabi ni Cahli sa kaibigan.

"What? I don't understand you. What do you mean?"

"Bryant is dating you and now Brylle is dating you, too. Look at this." Pinakita ni Cahli ang hawak niyang bond paper kay Helaena.

And to Helaena's surprise, it was her on the picture with Brylle. The day they were dated-- no, that's not even a date. Mga picture nilang dalawa na Brylle na magaksama sa restaurant na pinag compile sa isang bond paper.

"Everyone knows now that you and Brylle have something, mutual understanding, relationship, exclusively dating or whatever you call it. It's on every student's mouth and even on the social site of Duncanville. Trending. Frontpage."

"This is crazy! We don't have any romantic stuff. He hates me and I hate him much more. And this dating thing, oh God! We didn't even dated, we just... Urghh!" Naisip niyang bakit pa siya mag e-explain kay Chahli kung buong Duncanville Universe ay ang paniniwala ay may something sila ni Brylle. "I want to puke on this pathetic idea."

"Kung hindi kayo nag date, then how can you explain these pictures?".

"Okay, all right. I believe you."

Nagsimula na nilang tahakin ang papunta sa kanilang 1st subject. Hindi na lang pinansin ni Helaena ang maraming pares ng mata na nakatingin sa kanya.

"Kung may mga positive feedback sa'yo, siyempre mas marami ang mga negative feedbacks. Dumami tuloy ang mga bashers mo. And don't you dare to visit Duncanville's page, baka ma stress ka lang sa mga mababasa mo." Umento ni Cahli sa kaibigan.
