"OBJECTION!"

I've been saying that word a lot. It's my job, though. As a lawyer, yelling the word 'objection' just kind of comes with the territory, does it not?

Most lawyers' jobs include defending the innocent from false charges. Well, that's how it used to be. Before things went crazy and false charges and evidence forgeries joined the game. Now, defense attorneys forge evidence to combat the false charges that prosecutors throw at them near constantly.

And while that's what people would call 'the norm' around these parts, that's nowhere near normal for me.

My name is Lucas Red. I'm a defense attorney. I work at Morix Law Office under Cotoli Morix and alongside Lily Shield, Niamh Tenniswood (both are also lawyers), and a few other girls (school students) named Yuri Rinko, Averl Jones, and Chrysalis Starr. A spirit named Venus Rinko (she has a habit of being a creepy stalker if you ask me, but now isn't the time) also works at the agency...at least, she used to and sort of does when channeled by Lily or Chrysalis or...I'm getting off topic again. My apologies. Ahem:

But things weren't always like this.

Things started out with me getting hired and stuff. Things were pretty normal for a while...but a few words that graced the lips of many people changed all of that:

'Oracle of the Law.'

After a journey that lasted a year, I finally understand why this big secret mattered to people.

But, a conclusion without a journey means nothing to anybody, so let's start from the beginning, shall we?

It all began one February day, when a car crash occurred in a hotel parking lot. It was labelled a premeditated murder, and a young boy was arrested for the crime.

If you think that sounds normal, you're in for quite the surprise.
