Somebody like you (pt.2)

"Well Mr. Too good looking for 100 years old Barnes, I think we make a pretty good team. You know, of course from the part of almost dying. I'm glad to call you my neighbor pal." You pat Bucky on the back and walk over to the self serve bar to pour yourself a drink.

You for one had enough for the day, or for the rest of your life. Your neighbor, was an ex assassin whose 100 years old basically, with a metal arm and a super soldier serum, who happened to save your life, willingly. You thought your day couldn't get any better than this.

"I'm so sorry this happened to you, (Y/N). No matter what happens, no matter where I go, or who I am with.. someone always ends up hurt."

"Dude, chill out with the overly sensitive shit. We are alive, that's all that matters! We should be celebrating not sulking. Have you learned nothing over your 100 years of life?!"

"I guess not. Do you have anything other than liquor to drink?" He asks you sarcastically.

"Coffee!"

"I'll pass, I don't really do coffee."

You scoff at what you just heard, you couldn't believe your ears. How could someone not like coffee? It's what americas runs on.

"Dude really? Who doesn't drink coffee? You sure you're just not a fudging alien my friend, just like a really good looking muscular one?"

"And that's my cue to get going." Bucky gives you a small grin and makes his way towards your door.

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, I enjoyed almost dying with you. I think I've learned more about you in less than 24 hours, than I have, having you be my neighbor for almost 3 years. You're not half bad Jamesy boy." You smile at him punching his shoulder playfully.

"And to you, (Y/N)." Before Bucky walks out, he turns back around to face you, and leans over to give you a kiss on the cheek.

"I usually don't kiss on the first date buddy."

"And I usually don't almost die, guess theirs a first for everything." He chuckles, making his way out of your door.

"Does this mean we are going back to being total strangers?" You grab his arm, causing him to turn and face you again.

"That's completely up to you, beautiful. I mean, I did just save your life."

"And I let you crash at my place till your key arrived. So you sir, have been re-payed a favor." You cross your arms, literally blushing like an idiot.

"I like you (Y/N), I've never met any woman like you in my almost 100 years of life." He grins from ear to ear making his way across the hall to his home.

You open your door, and before you could even say hello, your body was thrown against the wall and slammed onto the floor.

"Why hello darlin, I'm looking for a friend of mine. I think you just might know who that is." The stranger says kicking you in your gut.

"We are going to have so much fun together.. just you wait and see." The mystery man grabs your face tightly and smashes it against the wall knocking you out.
