Chapter 4: Strangers

Lisa's POV: He doesn't recognise me, I look like I'm fine but I'm dying inside, he looks at me like I am a complete stranger.

Lisa : Shane, do you know who I am?

Shane : How do you know my name and who are you?

I so badly wanted to cry there and then. He didn't even know how he got in the hospital, I don't even know if he will ever know about us.

A few minutes later the doctor came in.

Dr Lewis : Lisa, this might be a bit upsetting, but Shane has lost 3 years of his memory, he can't remember you and it could be permanent.

I didn't want to hear this, he could never know who I am. he doesn't even know how big his fans have gone, that he has Corny, and if it is permanent, I will lose Shane forever, even the thought makes me want to pass out.

I go and get some air for five minutes, then Shane walks outside to talk to me.

Shane : You're my girlfriend? I don't even know who you are. My mom told me everything. I was in a coma? This is very confusing!

Lisa : It will be for a while, I just hope that you can regain your memory back.

Shane : It's possible?

Lisa : I hope so.

He gives me a smile, I want to kiss him so badly, I lean in but he pushes away.

Shane : You may be my girlfriend, but I don't know you, or anything about you, you're a complete stranger to me.

He storms back inside, I silently cry and go home with Corny, the same thought was always in my head, will he remember me?
