Preferences: Your Birthday

Start from the beginning

Kyle David Hall:

Clearing my vision by rubbing my eyes, I noticed that there was a piece of notebook paper taped to Kyle's pillow. Putting on my glasses, I put the pillow on my lap and read the text aloud: Happy Birthday! I'm not going to be home until dinner, so please have a great day. I love you. A small sigh escapes my lips and I get up to dress myself up. Since it's my birthday, I should treat myself like royalty. A half an hour has passed when I finished applying makeup and found a cute outfit, and my mind begins to ruminate on what I should do to pass the time until Kyle comes home. Then a thought striked me almost instantly; I should create cupcakes to celebrate this day. Luckily for me, all the ingredients were in the house and I began to make them as a part of my lunch.

~ Later That Day ~

Looking at the clock, it said it's 7:26 PM; Only four minutes 'til Kyle gets home. At the last minute, I decided to scare Kyle as a way to welcome him home. I know that this could go one way or another, meaning that he'd get scared and try to attack me or he wouldn't be freaked out at all. It's still worth a shot, though. I got into the cardboard box in the living room and waited for the front door to open. This is going to be amazing. Five minutes later, I heard the door knob turning and I prepared myself for the prank and kneeled in the box. It's uncomfortable, but it's going to be worth it. The door opens, and I wait to hear footsteps travel into the living room.

"Babe, where are you?" I heard Kyle call out into the house. It was so hard not to respond back, but then I heard his footsteps come toward the box, "God, is she addicted to online shopping again?"

Right before Kyle could look inside the box, I sprung up and Kyle screamed and fell onto the couch. Watching him out of breath on the couch, I couldn't catch my breath either. I was so close to falling out of the box laughing. He looked at me and kicked the box, making me fall onto the ground.

"Wow, I'm gone for the whole day and this is what I get?" Kyle asked and went down on the ground to match my level.

"A whole day is too long in my world, especially when it's my birthday," I explained once I caught my breath.

"Okay, well, I'll make it up to you. Do you wanna get some dinner at your favorite place in the world?" I couldn't help but smile when Kyle said that.

"Yes."

Jeydon Wale:

Work has been the absolute worst today, and what makes it even more horrible is that today's my birthday. My parents always made it look like birthdays are the most magical days ever because people have to be nice to you and have to give you their attention, but that's not the case at all. The only kind of attention I got today was from my boss and he got after me because I fell asleep on the job, but can you blame me? It's a job at a nine to five pace, and everything is the same everyday. I mean, at least try to be reasonable. At least now I can go home and be with the one who loves me. I get into my car and turn it on before I move the gear shift to reverse and pull out of the parking lot. Music is truly the only thing that keeps me sane besides Jeydon and I put my music on shuffle to occupy my mind. The first song that comes on is Daughters by The Story So Far and I sing along until all the thoughts from work are cleared from my mind.

Getting home, I killed the engine and went inside the house, "Surprise!" I honestly couldn't believe that all my friends are here, and Jeydon came over to me and kissed me.

"Happy birthday, baby." Jeydon said.

Johnnie Guilbert:

*Johnnie's Point of View*

"What's up guys? It's Johnnie and today is my girlfriend's birthday, so I'm going to surprise her with a feast for breakfast and a song I wrote for her. I know it's 9:30, but I don't care. She needs to know she's special to me." I explained to the camera for the newest vlog. I walked upstairs and into the bedroom and saw that she was still sleeping, so I decided to curl up next to her on the bed and point the camera at us. I made a shushing motion to the viewers, even though they wouldn't hear us, and I proceeded to tap her shoulder to wake her up. After a minute, she finally woke up.

"Hey! Turn the camera off!" Y/N demanded, and I couldn't help but giggle at her reaction. I knew for a fact she would react like this, and now I have it on camera. I turned the camera off and put my arms around her into a hug, "Don't hug me. You shouldn't of filmed me." I pushed him away.

"You won't be mad at me once you see what's downstairs," I said to her. Even though she shrugged, I still pulled her out of bed and brought her downstairs to the kitchen. When she saw the feast I made for her, she couldn't help but shriek out of happiness. She made her way to the plates on the island and dug into the food at the dining table.

When she finished her food, I made her stay there for a few minutes while I got my ukulele and the music sheets I wrote on for her song. I came back into the kitchen and had her take the music sheets while I continued to tune the ukulele before I started singing. Once the song was over, I could tell she was holding back tears. She ran up to me and kissed me.

"Thank you so much. I loved it," she thanked.

Jordan Sweeto:

Because of how much I miss the carnivals back home in the United States, Jordan decided to take me to the one tonight centered at the harbor for my birthday tonight. So far today, we went out for lunch, we took the dogs to the dog park, we played video games, and we went to a local concert after lunch. Now it was time to get ready for the carnival, but I didn't know what to wear. After twenty minutes, I finally decided on a short sleeve black shirt with white polka dots, a leather jacket, black skinny jeans, and boots. I met Jordan at the door and we headed off to the carnival.

Getting there, we were greeted with warm smiles and the amazing aroma from the various foods available to us. We ran towards the food and bought all of our favorite foods. Once we finished our food, Jordan convinced me to go with him to the test of strength game and win a prize. It took three attempts, but he managed to get me a huge-sized lion. Then, we decided to go on the tilt-a-whirl and we went on it twice.

"I'll race you to the house of mirrors," Jordan challenged.

"You're on!" I yelled and we sprinted towards it, but Jordan managed to beat me at the last second, "Jerk!"

"Hey, you accepted the challenge." Jordan raised in hands in defeat. We both went into the house of mirrors, but one of the mirrors stretched me out and made me look fat. Before I could turn away, Jordan out his arms around me from behind and looked into the mirror.

"Don't let a mirror tell what you are and what you aren't. What means the most is what you have with you at this moment because whenever I look at you, I see perfection. Happy birthday." Jordan complimented. Best. Birthday. Ever!

A/N: This is long overdue and I'm so sorry about the wait. I've been having a really hard time with General Anxiety Disorder and panic attacks, and it's been keeping me from writing imagines. Luckily, I managed to pull through to write this for you guys! Because of my anxiety, I want to tell you guys the importance of having hope and faith. It can really help and that's what's been helping me get through anxiety. I love you guys so much. Stay strong and stay beautiful <3
