Chapter 7: The Date

“Nope.” He responded while popping the P.

“Why not?” I questioned

“Because I want to keep it a surprise.” He said

“Ok fine.” I said relaxing into the chair more.

15 minutes later we pulled up into a carnival parking lot. I can’t believe our first date is going to be here!! I was so excited that I jumped out of the car and when I turned to Hunter his face showed amusement and a little sadness.

“Hunter what’s wrong?” I asked

“I was supposed to open your door for you, but you were to excited that you beat me to it.” He said laughing at the last part. Aw he’s so cute for wanting to be a gentleman, I love that.

“I’m sorry I didn’t know that you wanted to do that. I’ll just get back into the car so you can open the door for me.” I said 

“No you don’t have to do that Zoey just let me get it for you next time.”

“Nope.” I said popping the P while getting back into the car.

He laughed at what I did and opened the car door for me giving me his hand to help me out. 

“You know your just to cute, by the way I didn’t get to say this earlier when I saw you but you look beautiful.” He whispered into my ear as we walked towards the gate.

I couldn’t help but blush again. “Thanks, you don’t look so bad yourself either.”

Once we go to the gate Hunter paid and got us the unlimited rides wrist bands. He put it around my wrist and I dragged him straight to the rides. We rode several rides in a row including on that was like the tea cups and a boat shaped ride that swung back in forth making one side to up while the other was down. It was really fun I made him ride it like 5 times. The only reason I didn't drag him on again was that he looked like he was going to blow chunks. I laughed in my head because he couldn't ride that ride one more time, it was funnier that he was a powerful soon to be alpha yet he looked like he was going to pass out.

"Why don't we get something to eat before we go on more rides." Hunter suggested but his eyes showed that he really didn't want to go on anymore rides for a bit.

"Ok. I'm getting hungry anyways." I replied smiling at him. He led me over to a food booth that had all kinds of fried foods.

"Is it ok if I get you to try something here first? if you don't like it I'll take you to another booth." He said

"Yeah this is fine." I smiled at him.

"Are you sure? I don't want to make you eat anything you don't want." He responded looking a bit stressed.

I grabbed his hand and he seemed to relax a bit, "Hunter it's fine. I don't mind eating something from here. Anyways I wanted to try a fried Twinkie. Cause I've never had one before." I admitted

"I'll get that and something else I think you should try." he said looking relieved

While he went to get the snacks I found a table next to the booth and sat down. When he walked over to me he was holding two water bottles and 3 different bowls and a wax paper bag.

"What did you get?" I asked him as he reached me.

"I got deep fried ice cream, fried Oreos, your fried twinkies, 2 water bottles," He answered placing the bowls and drinks down and then lifting the bag, " and a turkey leg."
