Chapter 7: The Date

                        The Date

~~~~~ After School ~~~~~

As the final bell rang Grace pulled me out of class to meet up with Loretta and May to help me get ready for my date tonight with Hunter. I still can’t believe that he already asked me out. When I told the girls they flipped out and when I told them when it was they flipped out even more. All Hunter told me about the date was that I should wear something comfortable. 

When we got back to the house the girls rushed me straight into my room, saying that there was so much to do in such little time. I took a quick shower and when I was done I put on a robe. When I stepped out of the shower May and Loretta started on my hair and make up, even when I told them no make up, while Grace started to put my outfit together.

When May and Loretta finished they sent me straight into the closet to get dressed because they wouldn’t let me see their work. The outfit that Grace put together for me was a blue and white plaid blouse with black skinny jeans. When I walked out of the closet they let me look in the mirror.

Loretta curled the ends of my hair and May applied light make up on my face, even though I didn’t want any on. But it did look good so I couldn’t really complain. 

“You look so pretty.” May squealed

“Yes you look amazing.” Grace and Loretta agreed.

“Thank you guys so much.” I told them while giving them each a hug.  As we pulled out of the hug the door bell rang. I checked the clock and I saw that it was already 6 o’clock. Wow I didn’t think that it would take us this long for me to get ready. 

I walked downstairs with the girls in tow, when we got down there Hunter was by the door talking to Carlos. He was wearing a dark blue button up with the sleeves rolled up to his elbow and faded bluish/grayish jeans. When I looked up at his face was met with his captivating eyes. I noticed that he caught me checking him out and I couldn’t help but blush a little, even though I could feel him checking me out too, he had a smirk on his face seeing me blush. 

We were pulled out of our trance when Carlos spoke up, “I won’t her home no later than 10:30 or else.” he said trying not to laugh while looking all tough.

“Carlos stop we all know your not going to do anything if he brings her home later than that,” Loretta told him, than she turned and looked at Hunter “don’t listen to him, but don’t keep her out to late there’s school tomorrow and if she doesn’t go she will get in big trouble.” 

“No problem I won’t keep her out to late.” He told reassured her then turned to me “Are you ready to go?”

“Yup, let’s go.” I told him than turned to the others, “Bye guys and thanks again for the help.” I smiled and gave them all a quick hug and Hunter took my hand after saying bye to them too and walked me to his car. He opened the car door for me and I slid in with a smile on my face I thanked him as he closed the door and walked over to his side and getting in. 

“So are you going to tell me where were going?” I asked once he started driving.
