Bobby's POV:
"Am I late?" I asked Mr. Matthews, as I rushed into the classroom. "Please tell me I'm not late! I'm late, aren't I?"
"Yes, you're late, Ms. Holt," Mr. Matthews replied. "Ten minutes late, in fact."
"Sorry, Sir," I apologized quickly, and started to my seat. "Won't happen again!"
"Oh no you don't!" Maya said, blocking my way. "Why are you late?"
"Because I am," I said, matter-a-factly.
"Sure," Zay laughed.
"But, really, why are you late?" Lucas asked.
"I just overslept ok?!" I replied, trying to push pass Maya to my seat.
"You're lying!" Riley shouted. "And we don't like liars in this group!"
"Then maybe I shouldn't be apart of your group!" I shouted back, taking my seat.
Everyone was quiet, but I could've sworn I'd heard Farkle mumble something. I just ignored it as Mr. Matthews started to teach.
