Hey Crashers!

This book's probably going to be updated a lot less frequently now, since I'm making chapters for my Jason Todd fanfic, and I'm in the midst of making a Dick Grayson X Reader book, AND school's killing my writing moods

"Tell me again, why am I doing this?" You asked, narrowing your eyes at Dick.

"Because you're the perfect age, Y/N. I know you already hate Bruce's Charity Balls, but at least Tim's going with you." The black haired vigilante explained.

Truth is, you had a huge crush on Tim ever since Bruce Wayne 'adopted' you,  and the fact that Dick was sending you and him on a covert mission as a couple wasn't helping that.

The mission was to get closer to the Court of Owl's Grand Master. Maybe even find out which of Gotham's richest he actually is. A few weeks ago, Damian had come across an entrance to one of their meeting places, and tonight they were having a 'ball' of some sort there. Which meant the Grand Master would be in attendance.

Snorting in annoyance, you gave up on trying to argue your way out. Maybe you'd be able to dance with Tim, at least.

Looking in the full-length mirror, you admired your appearance. Babs had pinned up your hair and put a light makeup around your eyes. You had been forced to put on a floor-length F/C dress that she'd picked out for you. She insisted you needed to 'look the part'.

"Alfred better have made two batches of cookies for me when I get back." You growl. Dick knew you could always be made happy by Alfred's cookies, so he had already asked him to make some.

"Sure, now go, you don't want to be late for the court." He ushered you to the car. It was a black Rolls Royce, which Bruce had begrudgingly bought especially for the mission.

"Tim's not ev-" you spoke too soon, as you started your sentence Tim strolled into the Batcave wearing a tuxedo with his hair slicked back. There was a small light purple pocket square neatly folded into his jacket's pocket, it was the only part of it that was colourful.

"Hey, Y/N, you ready to go?" He asked, jumping into the driver's side.

"Y-yeah, 'course." You said, hopping into the opposite side. Before you could shut the door, Dick handed you two owl masks.

"Don't forget to wear these when you enter, we don't know if you'll need them or not, but just to be sure."

You gave a quick nod, taking them from him and placing them on your lap. Dick shut your door as Tim started up the engine and began to drive in the direction of the ball.
