Dean's Pov 

Seeing him talking and staring at Addison the way he was ,made me want to punch him in the face 

The kiss was instinctive and the wide look of her eyes when i pulled back made me smirk and want to kiss her again 

i slid in the booth across from her without sparing Martinez another glance 

"well ,uh ,see you tomorrow in class ,we'll be practicing the new moves "he said ,his words clearly directed at Addison who smiled at him nodding her goodbye 

Jared Martinez has balls the size of boulders for hitting on her in front of me ,especially after i just laid my claim in a obvious way 

after he was gone Addison turned to me with her wide eyes "what was that ?"

"what ?" i replied even though i knew what she was talking about 

"that kiss ,it was like some territorial marking "she hissed and i just smirked 

"so ?" i shrugged putting my hands behind my head and leaning back in my seat 

"So ???"she shrieked "you can't do that "

i leaned forward "there is something happening between us Addison ,and you're going to ride it out just like i am "

her eyes go even wider "nothing is happening ,we're just friends "

"you know that's bullshit "i smirked "and if you keep lying to yourself about it ,i'll keep kissing you anytime i want "

she growl at me and twists her hair in a pony tail then let it slide down and i realize it's a habit of frustration for her ,she looks so fucking adorable 

a waitress comes holding Addison's order and sliding it in front of her and i groan when i recognize the curvy brunette 

"hey "she smiled brightly at me 

i gave her a small smile "hey ..."

her smile faltered "Ashley "she continued for me 

"yeah Ashley ,how have you been ?" it's pointless to remember the name of every girl i sleep with ,at least i remembered that i slept with her , i'm an asshole i know ,and it's worst seeing the disappointed  look on Addison's face 

"i waited for your call but .."she trailed off playing with a strand of her hair 

"sorry ,i was busy with school "they know i'll never call them ,and yet they wait for my call ;it'll never happen "can i get my order "i cut off the awkward situation she was making me in ,i didn't want Addison to know me for the asshole that i am ,i want to change for her ,but how i'm going to do that when there is already so much damage 

Addison started packing her stuff "i have a class now ,so i'll be heading out "she gave me a tight smile and i knew she's pissed about the whole thing 

i packed my stuff too "i'm walking you to your class "i'm not letting her run away from me 

i let her walk in front of me until we were out of the pub

"i'm sorry about that "i said running a hand through my hair 

"it's okay "she gave me that tight smile again 

"no it's not ,it was awkward and ..." i started 

she cut me off "Dean ,i'm not like that girl "

i frowned "i know that ,but..."

"but nothing ,i don't do one night flings "she swallowed looking at the ground "i'm not sure i can do anything now "

i put my finger under her chin ,lifting her head lightly "what do you mean ?i want to have something with you "

"you don't know what you're saying "she shook her head "you don't want to be with me "

"yes i do ,i like you Addison ,and i swear i won't fuck this up if you gave me a chance "

"i'm not ready to have a relationship "she said her eyes distance and holding something i want to discover so badly 

"me neither "i took her hand in mine "but i'm ready to try for you ,please give us a chance "

she starred into my eyes for seconds and i held my breath for her reply 

"i'm scared "she admitted quietly "but i'll try "
