Chapter Seven

Dean's Pov

I can hear her sobs from inside the room and i'm frozen on the other side ,i followed her to see what's wrong but didn't think she'll be crying 

i leaned my back against her door and closed my eyes ,it was painful to hear her cry ,and i knew she wouldn't appreciate it if i got in and hugged her to my chest like i'm yearning to do right now 

whatever the reason that's making her in pain ,i want to destroy it .it's ridiculous how this girl that i met only two weeks ago is making me feel ,maybe because i recognized the pain she's feeling and how she's related to me in many ways 

i want to hold her and make all the pain go away ,but i know she'll think i'm crazy because we're basically strangers to each other ,but i tried to get to know her ,i tried to make her talk about herself but she shut down every time , but i'm not giving up on her 

a strangled sound from the other side made a knot form in my chest ,and i ran my hands through my hair in frustration realizing that i can't do anything to make her broken sobs stop 

i got up quickly and walked back to the living room,i need answers ,and he's the only one who'll be giving them

"is she okay ?"Logan asked standing up from the couch along with my sister who the worry is visible on her face 

"she's far from fucking okay and i need to know the reason "i answered finding it strange how i managed to talk through the lump in my throat 

Logan ran his hands through his face then said "i didn't know Addison was the girl you were talking about these past weeks " 

"she won't let me in ,and now she's crying in her room and i need to know the reason "

i saw as concern crossed his face "she's crying ?"he asked then moved to walk past me "i need to see her "

i stopped him "not before you start talking "i snapped 

"i knew Addison from high school"i watched as he swallowed hard and looked to the floor "i used to date her best friend "he explained then he looked at me "that's all i'm going to say "when i was ready to object he raised his hand to stop me "it's her choice to tell you or not "

he looked to the floor again shaking his head"i really messed up "he looked up "that's all you need to know "then he left leaving me standing there confused as shit with so many fucking questions that i know will be hard to find the answers to 

after what felt like eternity they finally got out from her room ,and i noticed how her eyes were puff and red ,she looked so vulnerable and could break under the slightest touch 

"Addison"her eyes turned to me at hearing my voice and i almost lost it from the pain that was inside them "what's this about ?" i gestured between her and Logan 

"nothing ,i just needed a moment "i watched as she plastered a fake smile on her face "now where is that Pizza ?i'm starving "she walked and plopped herself down on the couch opening a box 

i gave Logan a questioning look and he shook his head letting me know he won't be any fucking help for my confusion

"honey ,are you okay ?"Emma asked her sitting next to her and looking as confused as i am 

"i'm okay  ,please stop with the weird stares you two "she answered looking between us and i sighed in frustration knowing she won't talk about it

"i'm voting for a horror movie "i changed the subject plopping down the couch next to her and pulling her to my chest 

she pushed away from me "no way ,you just want that because you know i'll be stuck to your side through the whole thing "

"babe ,it's every girl's dream to have me near her "i gave her a playful smirk and a wink 

she snorted rolling her eyes  "not this girl "she grinned "so keep dreaming "

it was so fucking good to see her smile again and some light returning to her face

and right that moment i knew i'll do anything to make this beautiful girl smile again and erase the pain inside her eyes that's killing me just as much as it's destroying her
