Chapter 2

We walked around a little more and talked a lot. We had basically walked through the whole mall. When we were walking near the food court I got hungry.

"Do you want some food?" He asked me.

"Sure." I said.

"Oh and by the way what's your name?" He asked.

"My name's Emma." I said.

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He said before turning to get us some food.

I blushed a little but I tried to hide it and I pulled out my phone. I had a bunch of notifications from my messages and of course they were all from my best friend, Alison.

"Hi Alison!" I texted her.

"I've been texting you all day, where are you!?" She responded.

"You probably won't believe me if I tell you but I'll save it for later." I said.

I locked my phone, not waiting for her answer and looked up to see ashton bringing our food. He bought pizza with peach flavored Lipton iced tea! Alison tried to FaceTime me probably to see where I was but I ignored it. I noticed all the girls that were looking at him giving him flirty looks. I got a bit insecure even though Ashton seemed oblivious to the rest of the girls. I was just thankful there weren't any fans around or at least if there were they didn't recognize him.

"What's wrong?" He asked almost as if he were reading my mind.

"Oh nothing, I'm fine." I answered calmly.

"Ok, well I was thinking we could go see a movie after we eat since we walked around the whole mall." He said

"Sure but I have to be back by 4:00." I said.

"Great!" He responded.

We finished eating and we went to buy tickets to see a movie. We decided on watching Catching Fire since we had both watched The Hunger Games. He bought us popcorn and a one Pepsi for me.

This is kind of like a date I thought in my head but I quickly dismissed that thought, I'm 14 and he's 19 it'll never happen.

Ashton P.O.V

We started watching the movie and I kept looking at Emma, I hope she didn't notice. It's not my fault she's just so beautiful I couldn't resist, I noticed she looked a bit young. I'm going to have to ask her later, I turned my attention to the movie because I didn't want her to catch me looking at her.

Once the movie ended she was ecstatic, she kept talking about it, and she looked really cute being this happy about the movie.

"That was the best movie ever!" She said.

"Yeah it was really good." I said

"It's 3:50! I have to get home but there's no way I'll make it there on my skateboard!" She said a little worried.

"It's ok I'll just drive you home!" I replied as fast as I could.

"Thanks I live really close we should be able to make it on time, just let me get my skateboard." She said with a thankful smile.

I took her to my car and asked her for directions to her house. After she told me where I had a good idea of where she lived and started to get to know her better.

"So I've been wondering...how old are you Em?" I asked.

She paused for a minute and then she said "I'm 14."

There was a short awkward silence but I tried to act normal.

"Oh ok,are we close to your house?" I asked

"Yeah it's right around the corner." She said still looking down.

We got there and I could tell she looked a little sad and worried. She probably thought I would never talk to her again. I really wanted to hang out with her more she seemed cool.

"Bye Ashton." She said

"Wait could I have your number Em? So we can still talk to each other?" I told her.

"Sure!" She said a smile lighting up her face as we exchanged numbers.

"Bye Ash!" She said
