It's time for bed
But too much is in my head
My brain is awake
Thinking about how much is at stake
I should be sleeping
Counting the sheep who are leaping
But all I see are thoughts
About the what ifs and what nots
My eyes are tired
But my brain is too wired
I can hardly stay awake
But the feeling is fake
For when I close my eyes
I just want to rise
Because thoughts are dancing in my head
And they won't let me go to bed
