It is both a blessing and a curse.
A blessing in that it keep us away from doing dangerous things that could cause a loss of life or perhaps serious injury.
A curse in that it can keep us from being able to enjoy our rather short lives.
It lies there in the back of our minds examining all of our circumstances. Inputting small but subtle messages like the worst possible thing that could happen if you did that.
When you give in to that fear, it takes over. You arrive into a state of despair. Afraid of the rest of the world and all the things that could happen.
It grips you with an iron fist. You become its slave. But will you remain a slave of fear? That is something you have to choose yourself. No one else can make that decision for you. It's your choice. Fight or remain for eternity a slave to your own fears in your mind.
