{5} It's just one of those days

''You're the one who started it when you were an asshole to Tori.'' Brian said with a harsh tone in his voice. Why is he acting like this? Seriously? Oh...

''Wait...'' I started trying to contain my laugh from coming out. ''Do you still like her?''

''What?'' He gasped straightening up his posture on the couch. ''No! I don't.''

''Brian...''

''Shut up. I don't!'' He shouted this time a little tense.

''Oh my fucking god, you do!'' I stated laughing my ass off. This guy can't lie even if his life was depending on it.

''Stop it.'' He pleaded in a warning tone, but it just didn't work. It only made me laugh even more. ''For fuck sake Chris just stop it!'' He commanded.

I stopped and look at him. He always had a crush on Tori since we were kids, but I didn't know that he still felt the same way after all these years. Suddenly and to save his sorry ass, someone knocked on the door.

''Thank the person at the door. That is your salvation.'' I informed letting out a teasing smile as I got up from the couch and make my way to the door.

Before I opened the door I heard someone arguing. ''Adam, can you tell Zayn to stop being an ass?'' Oh, I know this voice to well. ''I will seriously kick him where the sun doesn't sh-''

''Hey guys.'' I greeted the three weirdos that were on the other side of the door as I opened it.

''Chris!'' Melanie called, throwing herself at me for a tight hug.

''I miss you to monkey.'' I hugged her back.

''Hey dude.'' Adam and Zayn both greeted me giving me a brofist.

I opened the door and let them in. Mel ran into the living room and sat right beside Brian. We all followed her. This girl is always too energetic. ''Weren't you guys meant to be staying at the campus with us?'' She inquired a little upset.

''We were... But someone got there before us and they gave our room to them.'' I informed.

''Can't you complain to the administration?'' Zayn asked seating on the other couch, while Adam stayed leaning on the door frame.

''We could.'' I stated. But before Brian could kill me with his stare I continued. ''But what would be the point anyways? Here we are more comfortable and have more privacy.'' I concluded.

''Which means... Parties!'' Melanie jumped out of the couch, grabbed her phone and went to the kitchen to make some calls.

''She better not be inviting the whole campus to our apartment or I swear to god that I will seriously throw her out of the window.'' Brian blurted sounding serious, looking at us.

''We are on the second floor. I doubt that would stop her.'' Zayn added laughing.

''Still. '' Brian shrugged looking back at the TV.

''Who wants to play the new FIFA? I bought it yesterday.'' Brian told taking the game out of his suitcase.

''I'm in!'' Zayn shouted jumping to the same couch as Brian. ''Adam?'' Zayn called him.

''What?'' He asked showing he wasn't paying attention to our conversation.

''You want to play the new FIFA with us?''

''No, I'm not really in the mood. I'll go for a walk instead. '' He informed with a small smile walking towards the door.

Okay, what the hell is wrong with him? Why is he refusing to play videogames?

''Wait!'' I grabbed my phone and my wallet and put them inside my pocket. ''I'll go with you.'' He nodded and waited for me outside.

We went to a coffee near my place and it's been fifteen minutes but he still hasn't spoken. Come on, it's freaking Adam we're talking about! The only time he is quiet is when he is making out with some chick or when he is eating.

''Are you going to tell me what the hell is wrong with you, or do I have to stay here and guess?'' I asked in a harsh tone, trying to see if I could break him.

''I'm fine.'' He said looking at me. ''And you didn't have to come if you didn't want to.'' He added taking a sip on his beer, not caring for my comment.

''That might work with Zayn, but not with me. '' I replied waving to the waitress to bring a new round of beers. ''Now spill it.''

''I really don't want to talk about it.'' He sighed.

''Does it look like I care about what you want?'' I inquired taking a sip on my beer.

''Do you always have to be this nosy?'' He blurted. ''Mind your own fucking business!'' He snapped getting up and walking towards the exit. I took a twenty-dollar bill and placed it on the table and run after him. Ew, this looks like a cheesy romance.

''Wait Adam!'' I run towards him and trying to catch my breath I said... ''Look, I'm sorry.'' He turned around to face me. ''You know I can't help being like this. I'm just worried because you're being really weird and not acting like yourself.'' I need to find a way to be a 'better friend'. I don't know what to say in these situations. I always come out sounding like a douche.

''It's Callie.'' He sighed under his breath.

''Who's Callie?'' I asked totally clueless.

''You remember last month when we came here to Miami, to make the admissions tests for the soccer team? ''

''Yes...'' I said waiting for him to continue.

''Well, to celebrate our entry we went to that club and went MIA remember? '' He continued.

''Hell yeah, I remember! We didn't know where you were for hours!'' I said recalling the memories from that night.

''I was with a girl.'' He confessed. ''We had sex.''

''Oh...'' I created my throat. ''And that girl name is Callie? ''

''Yes...'' He confirmed.

''So ...'' I waited for him to tell me the rest because right now, I'm not seeing what the problem is. He already had sex with a lot of girls. This sounds bad, but it's the truth.

''She said that she is pregnant and there is a high probability that the baby is mine.'' He said running a hand throw his hair, clear evidence of panic spread all over his face.

''Wait... What?!''
