Selena’s POV:

“Ugh, I cannot wait to get this little devil out of me!” I groaned in pain. The new little baby, that will be part of mine and Justin’s growing family has been kicking in me since 5 am this morning, and has not calmed down; not one bit. I’ve been up for almost 3 hours dealing with agonizing pain.

“What kind of cereal do you want this morning young man?” I asked my 5 year old son. “Cap’n Crunch, Frosted Flakes, or Pops?”

“Cap’n Crunch mommy!” He said. I smiled and grabbed out a bowl and placed it on top of the kitchen island where my son was sitting. I then reached into the kitchen cabinet and grabbed the cereal he wanted and grabbed the milk out of the refrigerator.

I carefully poured the cereal and milk, because knowing soon the baby would kick causing me to twitch and spill everything.

Luckily I was able to pour everything and hand my son his food before the baby kicked.

“Ouch.” I cried. “Why are you kicking so early? And why are you so painful.” I said to the growing baby inside me.

“Mommy, why are you talking to your belly?”

“I’m talking to your baby brother or sister, hon.”

“She can hear you?”

“Yeah honey, I’m pretty sure he OR she can. Chris I told you we don’t know if you’re gonna have a baby sister or baby brother. Not until later today.” I said.

“I’m pretty sure it’s a baby sister. It’s a big brother’s intuition.” He smiled taking a mouth full of cereal.

“Oh brother’s intuition eh?” I chuckled.

“Yep!” He smiled with his mouth full.

“Morning everyone.” Justin smiled coming down the stairs dressed in black slacks and a white button up shirt with a black tie.

He first went over giving his son a kiss on the forehead, then came over to me giving me a kiss on the lips.

“Morning babe.” I smiled.

“Morning.” He smiled back. “I woke up around seven and saw you weren’t in bed?”

“Yeah this young one in my belly keeps kicking.” I said rubbing my five-month old belly. “I don’t know why this one is kicking so early and fiercely. Chris didn’t kick until I was seven and a half months, and his kicks weren’t as bad.” I said.

Justin put his hand on my belly and leaned over in front of it. “Listen to me young lady; you need to stop hurting your mommy.” He smiled.

“Oh great, you think it’s a girl too?”

“Oh I don’t think, I know. Father’s intuition.” Justin smiled showing off his perfectly white teeth.

“Funny, Chris said the same thing, except it’s a ‘brother’s intuition’.” I quoted.

“I guess us men have great intuitions.” He laughed.

“Ha-ha, sure.” I laughed.

“So what time is your ultra-sound again?” Justin asked putting on his black jacket.

“Three-thirty.” I said cleaning up after Chris after he was done eating his breakfast. “Hey Chris go get your backpack so I can drop you off at grandma Pattie’s.” I smiled.

“Okay!” He exclaimed and jumped off the stool and ran up to his room.

“Dropping him off at my mom’s today?”
