Later in the day Glen and Becca came round and gave me a chance to ask him about Adam and his mum " ha-ha " laughed" it's taken one night for you to find out"

" in the field or in a fire fight he's the one soldier you want holding your back, but out of uniform he is by far the biggest mummy's boy I've ever known" and he started laughing again.
I thought back to this morning ,the way he lifted me off him and shot off to take his mum shopping ,nah he's not the one for me but," how long is your leave for " I casually asked glen
" 28 days well 27 now " hmmm I then decided that if he wasn't long term I may as well enjoy it
Picking up my phone I went to the bathroom and text Adam" hey you ,would you like to stay here again tonight " I put my phone in my pocket and waited for a reply going back and sitting with Becca " so what you been up to ?" I asked her
" oh...well we ERM... "
" OK OK" I smiled ,I get the picture,
she went red and giggled ,then I saw how beautiful she actually was and at that I pulled myself away, she was most definitely out of bounds.
I went to the kitchen and made a cuppa for us all then after an hour I went to the gym.
" Hi Titch" Alan greeted me, he was with a group of young kids going through some kata. " get changed and then I need to talk with you" I looked puzzled but went and got changed ,my uncle had got me some sponsorship so I was completely kitted by Blitz which was pretty cool ,I put on my black freestyle pants and t shirt pulled on some bag gloves and prepared for half hour pummeling the bags.
Alan said goodbye to the class and came across "how are you feeling" he asked, not knowing where this was going I said" I'm feeling great" not mentioning the night before with Adam,
"Good, you ready for a fight?" Looking at him I could see a smile trying to break through" another warm up ,I suppose so" I said ,landing a 3 punch combo on the bag
" nope " he smiled now
" the eliminator!" Now I was getting a little excited
now his smile grew "nope"
" then what?" I was confused " if not a warm up or the eliminator then what, a title fight" I laughed
His smile vanished " yup"
I sat on the floor" what...but...how???"
" the Italian girl who held the Euro belt has been booted for steroid abuse so the girl she beat to get it has been moved to joint no1 contender "
" joint? Who with?" I asked
" with you Muppet " he was laughing now
I sat there staring at him I couldn't believe what he was saying

I was thinking of the European fighters I knew

" we've got two weeks training to do you fight 2 weeks on Saturday"

"Titch you could fight her now, you've never been this level of fitness". He grabbed my hand and pulled me up " OK tomorrow training starts at 6:30 am ,be here in your running kit OK"
I nodded" good now clear off I've a group of teenagers next class and I can't get them to do a thing when your here. He laughed again and I went and got changed.
Back at my flat I told glen and he got my laptop and found her on you tube after 10 mins he looked at me "and you're going to fight her?" I just looked at the screen where Jo was in a compilation of fights her opponents flying, falling and losing ,58 wins 1 loss
I was up to 13 and 0 12 by knockout," wow she's good " I said
" Good!!" Glen coughed "she's awesome"
" but you're forgetting one thing big bro"
" and what's that sis?"
" I'm better" I grinned at him and headed off for a shower
