My darling Crystal,
15 years ago, your mother and I were looking forward to your arrival. Now I'm hoping you're just as excited to see me after all this time. Life changed after Persephone's death though. I lost the finances I need to care for you. I was 23 when I lost her and you were all I had left, but now I have the money I need to care for you and give you anything you want. All you have to do is come live with me and my new wife Catherine in New York. I know it seems like too much and I know with high school and all that it'll be tough but I know that if you had half of your mother's intelligence, you'll be fine. I have a guest apartment to hopefully make the transition easier. Take your time in deciding; I'll be there on the fifteenth so I can see my baby girl turn 15!
