"Mum!! Lucas took my book!"

"Lucas give Chloe her book back please!"

"Fine. Snot bag"

"MUM!"

"Both of you stop! That's enough. Lucas say sorry now."

"Sorry Chloe."

Lucas and Chloe have been fighting for about 2 weeks. They miss their dad but he's on tour and I can't take them because of school and work. I feel really bad for them.

I haven't seen my asshole brothers since the wedding and to be honest I don't want to. What they did hurt a lot and I don't want my kids anywhere near them.

"Kids, you ready for the first day of school?"

"Yeah mum!" They both said screaming while they were running down the stairs.

"Be careful you two. Go get in the car and I'll be out in a second."

"Mum?"

"Yeah Chlo?"

"Is Aunt Jenny going to be round again tonight?"

"Yeah sweetie. So is your cousins remember?"

"Lucas!! Toby and Sam are coming over tonight!" She shouted, whilst sprinted out the door to the car.

I picked up my phone. It dialed and he answered.

"Hey baby"

"Hey."

"How are the kids? Do they know about tonight?"

"Of course not! Its a surprise that your coming home remember?"

"Yeah, just teasing ya. I've missed you princess."

"I've missed you too."

"Well the boys are calling me. Were about to get on the plane okay? I'll see you tonight babe."

"Okay."

"I love you!"

"I love you too"

The line cuts off and I put the phone in my bag. Walking out the door I shut and lock it.

As I put my belt on in the car Lucas speaks up.

"Mum? Was that dad?"

"Uh yeah Luke"

"I miss him mum. When's he coming home?"

"I don't know Luke."

I ready did want to tell him but I wasn't going to ruin the surprise.

By the end of the conversation we were at the twins school.

"Alright you two monkeys. Have a good first day okay? My two year 4's! Love you"

"Bye mum! Love you too" they both said as they jumped out the car and walked into school together.

I got out the car and walked to the door. It swung open just as I was going to press the buzzer.

"Morning Jade."

"Morning Cole."

"Babe Jade's here! Come in."

"Thanks" I say as I step into the house.

"Jen's in the boy's room with Sam."

"Still not going to school?"

"Nope. Toby decided its time though."

"Yeah I understand. Right, well I'll go talk to my nephew again then."

I walk up the stairs and make my way to Sam's room. 

"Mum, I just don't want to okay!" I heard Sam say.

"Sam. You need to go back. What about if I take you?" I say

"JADE" he runs and jumps on me giving me a hug.

"Come on monster. Your older than your brother and he's at school!"

"I know. But I don't want to!"

"What if I take you out for dinner after school? Will you go then? I'll even take you."

"Okay! I'll go!"

"Good. Go get your stuff and get in the car while I call the school and let them know your coming in. Okay?"

"Yep!"

He runs out the door and Jenny walks in.

"Hey Jade, thank you for that."

"Hey Jen, it's alright. You all still on for tonight?"

"Yeah course! Seeya tonight. Don't want Sam to change his mind."

"Alright, I'll pick them both up after school when I pick up Chloe and Lucas. Bye babe" we hug and just as I walk out the door I shout a bye to Cole.

How was the sneak peak? So Jade has a husband. Cole and Jenny are together. Both have children. And what happened to Jade's brothers? What did they do?
