I love you. I love you. I love you.
But you don't care because you don't believe in romance, do you?
We're in your room, you're lying on your bed and I'm reading on the floor. The silence is comfortable but I can't help wanting more. I'll hold your hand and you'll squeeze it back. You laugh loudly when you see me staring at your six-pack.
I've told you I like you so many times, I lost count. But each time you tell me romance is an illusion and not a thing.
Today, you hugged me tight, ran your hands through my hair and looked me in the eyes. I pushed you away and told you not to give me lies. I stormed out, hoping you'd follow me like in a cliché film, but you didn't. I don't think I would have forgiven him if he did anyway.
Don't think I'll ever forgive you.
You don't believe in romance, and I don't believe in you.
