CHAPTER: 13
"What did Ron want?" Kamile asked as Christine got back to her room.
Christine sighed. "He just was asking about something," she replied.
"What?" Kamile asked.
"Nothing," she said. "Just family stuff."
Kamile didn't try to push for the answer. She just accepted what her friend had given her.
Christine and Kamile then went downstairs and Christine showed Kamile around. "Do you know all my brothers?" Christine asked. "I know you know Ginny, but what about my brothers?"
"I know some of their names," she replied. "But not personally know them."
Christine motioned for Kamile to follow her. Christine then walked all over the house to find her brothers. In the kitchen, she saw Percy and Bill talking about the Ministry of Magic. Bill worked there and Percy did too, but they have different jobs.
"Bill!" Christine exclaimed hugging her oldest brother. "I haven't seen you in forever!"
Bill hugged her back. "Me neither," he said.
Christine then pulled away and showed them Kamile. "This is Kamile Opal," she introduced. "She's my best friend."
"Hello," Kamile greeted.
Bill waved like Bill would, and Percy held out his hand to properly shake it. "Nice to meet you Miss Opal," he told her.
Kamile shook his hand and nodded. Christine then brought Kamile out to the front of the Burrow.
"Percy has always been very proper," she told her. "Then there's the twins."
They stepped onto the grass where Fred and George were testing some new products for their store.
"Fred! George!" Christine called.
Fred and George turned and saw Christine standing there with a girl they've never seen before. "Hey there, SltherSis," they greeted at the exact same time. Fred and George would have to be the most understanding of her house in her family.
"Hi," she said back. "I'd like you to meet Kamile Opal. She will be staying with us for Christmas."
"What about your own family?" Fred asked.
"I only have a mom, and she's not the
most caring person in the world," she explained.
"Oh, sorry he asked," George apologized for his brother.
Kamile shrugged. "It's fine," she said.
"Just so you don't get us confused," Fred started, "I'm George's twin brother named Fred, not George. If I was George, then I'd be George, which I'm not, I'm Fred."
"And I'm Fred's twin brother George, not Fred, George. If I was Fred, then I'd be Fred, which I'm not, I'm George."
Kamile nodded slowly. "Okay," she said.
"Don't worry about them, they always do that," Christine told her.
Christine then walked back inside and saw Mrs. Weasley getting ready for dinner. "When will Charlie get here?" Christine asked.
"Charlie can't come," she told her. "He's working on a really hard dragon at the moment and he doesn't want to leave his coworker with all the work."
Christine sighed. "I haven't seen him in 5 years," she stated.
Mrs. Weasley hugged her daughter. "It's all right," she comforted her. "You'll see him soon."
Christine then went up to Ron's room with Kamile. She put her ear up to the door to see what he was talking to Harry about. She put her finger to her lips to Kamile.
"She has one?" Christine could hear Harry ask.
"Yes," Ron replied.
Christine then barged into Ron's room, followed by Kamile, and stood their angrily at him. "You said you wouldn't tell!" she scolded him.
"Sorry, I had to tell Harry," he apologized.
"Tell him what?" Kamile asked.
"I'll tell you later," Christine told her.
Christine sighed angrily and dragged Kamile out and into her room. "Sorry about my family," Christine apologized.
"I like them," Kamile replied. "Better than my mom."
Christine sighed and looked at her friend. They looked at each other with uncertain faces.
"I have a big secret to tell you," they both said at the same time. "You go first," they told each other.
"You go first," Christine said by herself.
Kamile nodded. "Well, it's a secret I've known for a while," she started. "Around Christmas two years ago, I found out who my father was. And my father is Voldemort," she ended hanging her head in shame.
Christine's eyes were in shock. "Oh, that's awkward," Christine commented.
Kamile looked at her strangely. "I know, you don't have to remind me," she said.
Christine shook her head, "No I might have kissed your father a few times," she told her with a weird face.
"You're joking right?" Kamile asked.
"No," she concluded. "I kissed him as Tom and once as Voldemort."
"How? When? Why?" Kamile interrogated.
"Um, it was in the Forbidden Forest about two years ago," she went on, "and he told me he loved me. I told him I shared his feelings."
Kamile looked at her with disgust. She then shuddered. "Ew." is all she could say. "Was that your secret?"
"Partially," Christine said. She then lifted up her left arm sleeve. Kamile gasped at the sight she saw.
"Is that real?" Kamile asked.
Christine nodded. "Your father forced me to get it."
"When is your next meeting?" Kamile asked.
Christine shrugged.
"I'm coming with you" she told her.
Christine shook her head. "He won't be very happy," she warned her.
"I don't care," Kamile told her. "Your my best friend, and he's my father. I'm going with you."
"Whether he knows he's your father or not, he'll kill you if you're there," Christine stated.
There was then a long silence. "Dinner!" Mrs. Weasley shouted from downstairs.
The two girls then ran down stairs.
